All went well and Suchismita was very helpful and responsive. The location is nice and well connected with Metro and local railway. Definitely recommend to future guests. Will come again next time.

everything was exactly as described online, the host is responsive too if there is anything moreover this studio apartment ihas everything to make u feel as home without paying much. The rates of the property is very reasonable too comparing with the room n service provider. Even the location in a well planned area therefore all type of transportation is available right in front of the gate and all sort of online deliveries and even the can booked arrive right in front of the door. Our stay at this Airbnb was truly exceptional! Stepping into the beautifully preserved heritage building was like stepping back in time, yet with all the modern comforts. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of the gentleman who manages the property. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, especially when my wife fell ill. He took it upon himself to prepare delicious, authentic meals tailored to her needs, which was incredibly thoughtful. Beyond the comfortable accommodations, we were treated to a genuine taste of the local culture. Our host introduced us to hidden gem sweet shops and shared fascinating stories about the area's rich history. The location is perfect for exploring Kolkata's iconic landmarks. We were within easy reach of the Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, and many other historic sites. The neighborhood itself is vibrant and bustling, offering a fantastic opportunity for street photography enthusiast

The place was ready beautiful

A true gem in so, so many ways, I feel privileged to have stayed here. Entering the building is somehow like time travelling back to the late 1800's when it was built. I was already in love with this home when I saw the beautiful wooden staircase in the main entrance hall and then the door was opened to my room. Wow. The sheer scale of the space is incredible, the height of the ceiling! The room is filled with beautiful Victorian furniture with old prints of birds and plants. If you like honest, authentic places that are unique and memorable then this is definitely the place for you. Amrit and his staff were brilliant and very helpful. Before I left I said out loud to myself - I could live here - quite happily. The location is great - the room is at the side of the building and you barely hear the traffic even at it's busiest. Kolkata at it's best.

Beyond question, my stay at Sourav's was one of my finest and appreciated homestays in India. While the place was clean, comfortable and had the amenities I preferred, it was the connection I felt with the host himself and the caretaker who were both highly available and eager to do whatever was necessary to ensure that I was a happy person in their space. Host Sourav actually lived in the building where the apartment was that I occupied, so he was quick to respond if I had a question or concern. He ALWAYS had a solution or suggestion that satisfied my interest or query, and I was truly grateful for his reliable responsiveness and his intention in being sure that I had and knew/understood what was needed at the time. Essentially all of my needs and interests were met just fine, and I would have been pleased to extend my stay if I had more time available. I offer Sourav's "Cozy Mist" apartment my highest recommendation for a rewarding homestay experience in a remarkable part of India.
