Casa Carite is a great place to stay in couple and families. You can do a Kaya ride in the lake for free at your own risk but they have a lifeguards and good equipped . A good place to cook something fresh like fish’s if you do fishing.

This cabin house is AMAZING. Exactly what we were looking for. You can do many outdoor activities like kayaking, outside TV, pool table, connect 4, fire pits, boards games and the hot tub. Very private. There’s so much space & the view is breathtaking. The cabin is fully equipped. Efrain’s hospitality was the absolute best, from the wine and frituras at arrival to being very responsive, attentive and very communicative. At some point the cabin lost power, WE DIDN’T EVEN NOTICE, the cabin has their own solar & battery system, Efrain kept us posted on usage, when it came back etc. The road to the house and the driveway area are a bit rough and un-paved best to arrive during the day, we had a pregnant women (5 months) in the group & she was fine. My only suggestion would be the trash disposal. The trash has to be transported in a vehicle to the entrance of the “community” it’s like a 5-6 minute drive. For the cleaning fee they should be responsible for that, other this, I would RECOMMEND!

They were very responsive and assist you if needing help getting there. The place was clean and made us feel very safe. I would recommend this stay to others and would book again. No issues at all!

I highly highly recommend that you go to Lago Carite and stay at Raul’s place overlooking a beautiful lake scenery. Unfortunately we could only stay 1 night in this amazing apartment. Before we checked out we spent about 20 minutes taking some great photos and videos of the view & ourselves from the porch, which overlooks the lake, creating some the best photos from our trip!! The apartment is HUGE, esp compared to the 4 Airbnb’s we got in various PR cities. Apt is newly renovated with a beautiful kitchen and very nice bathrooms, yes I said bathroomS! There are 2 full bathrooms in the apartment. There is a large bed in a private bedroom with a full bathroom and a 2nd fouton bed in the living room area and the fouton bed is just next to the 2nd full bathroom, very convenient!! Raul is super kind as well! I messaged him asking for a coffee place nearby and his lovely response was to bring us over some coffee, milk, and sugar to brew our own pot of delicious Puerto Rican coffee!!
