Monthly Rentals in Putney

Where to start, such a beautiful location, amazing views from every angle. Kathleen you have created the perfect little cottage, it feels secluded yet close to everything. Very convenient location, everything seems like it's a 10 to 15 minute drive, activities, grocery or just somewhere to be at peace. One of my favorite things was the five minute drive to the local CO-OP, it was such a change up to feel so involved with the local foods and produce provided, here from the Massachusetts south shore its something that we do not get a chance to experiance. Me and my girlfriend came for our anniversary and I'm not sure it couldve been anything less than perfect. Every single thing about the location, the ammenities, the activites, even Kathleen could not have been more transparent, she was very responsive during the booking proccess and more when we were on location, she stressed that if we needed anything to let her know. This is without a doubt somewhere that we are going to stay again.

Really nice spot in the country - a great value. The double bed is in a loft. There is a settee where someone can sleep on the first floor.

The place is very nice for 1-2 people. The train only went by once (and during the day, not at night) so it wasn't something we noticed. That said, the tracks are literally 10 ft from the air bnb windows and it's at an intersection so the train has to use its horn. Otherwise, the place was in good shape and the cleaning fee is certainly put to good use as it was spotless. Just up the road in Putney we found a couple friendly options for food, but fa more in Brattleboro.

I would give Jocelyn 6 stars! Everything was perfect. The storefront/apartment is full of unique, eclectic furniture, decor and antiques/vintage items. I'm sure I didn't notice every detail in just a couple of days. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. I loved the little Keurig bar she had set up (even locally produced 1/2 & 1/2 in the fridge). My daughter and I were in town to visit Landmark College, which was about a 2 minute drive around the corner and up the hill. We were also celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday, and Jocelyn volunteered to help us with dinner reservations and making sure the restaurant planned something special. (It was the Putney Diner, and you should plan to visit them too!). We had some travel challenges and arrived late, and Jocelyn proactively checked in with me to be sure we got into the apartment. We easily did, because her directions and instructions were excellent and her self-check in was seamless. Wonderful experience!
