Spacious modern apartment in good location with spectacular views. Fully equipped and very (!) clean. Walking distance to promenade and restaurants. Supermarket and public transport to Funchal close-by. Mariana was very helpful with check-in and responsive to follow-up questions. Would have been useful to have instructions on how the TV worked. We enjoyed our stay and were pleased with the apartment and facilities.

We had a great stay at Paula's place. She responded very quickly to messages and welcomed us herself and showed us around. She also gave us a list of various recommendations- both for places to visit and very good restaurants. She also helped us get a good deal for a car rental. The apartment itself was super well equipped. Paula had even left for us beach towels and a fresh bag of coffee which we found a nice gesture. The location is very good, close to cafes, a big supermarket and down the stairs to the beach. Yes it's steep to get there but this is Madeira! There's not much to dislike. Maybe the bed was a bit hard and narrow but we still slept quite well tired after long days. The water in the pool was also rather on a cold side but it didn't stop the kids from swimming every day.

First time in Madeira, I wasn’t sure about the location being about 15 min outside Funchal city center. It was absolutely perfect! Everything about this apartment was excellent. Communication with Nyara was easy and she is extremely proactive. She provided detailed instruction on access and even helped book a taxi from the airport. From the moment we walked in the penthouse apartment (8th floor) we were wowed. The decor, the cleanliness, the balcony with incredible view and the bonus top deck. For 2 couples it was spacious and it even had a third bedroom which we didn’t use. The location is on the Promenade, walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. We even walked into Funchal old town which took about 1 hr. You can also walk to Camara do Lobos. It’s a quieter location with upscale apartments. During our stay they did begin construction on the next door Pestana resort. I can’t wait to return to Madeira and to this apartment. Thanks for a great stay!

I recently stayed at Apartment Vila Formosa Residence and had a nice experience. The spacious one-bedroom layout on the first floor provided easy beach access. Located in a gated community within a privileged area, I felt secure and relaxed throughout my stay. The infinity pool was a highlight and close to super market and shopping center. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a serene beachside retreat in Funchal. And last but not least , Thanks to Iri, an amazing host.
