Log cabin on organic farm

AdrianRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

South wing & tree house, Llwyn Onn Barn, Brecon Bs

JamesRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a really beautiful place to stay. it's lovely and secluded and very peaceful! Stephen & Sandy (and Cara the dog!) were wonderful hosts and gave us lots of advice on local walks and things to do in the area. The house was lovely and comfortable and we could have quite easily spent several days chilling in the garden and exploring the treehouse! We would highly recommend staying here, it's truly wonderful!

Eco-Barn in Brecon Beacons

AliceRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had the most wonderful stay in this beautiful barn conversion. Everything was high spec and it was a cosy yet spacious living space. Lovely kitchen and we were able to cook all our meals. Log burner was gorgeous as were the comfy sofas and chairs (my 8 year old son said the arm chairs were the most comfortable he had ever sat in!). My mother in law loved the high quality pillows and I was really pleased about the lovely hand wash and shower gel. Luxury touches! The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. We walked to the top of the hill opposite for panoramic mountain views. Had lovely afternoons out in Brecon and Hay on Wye. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere. Two pubs but need a car to get there and also to the nearest shop. Nearest supermarket 16 miles away. Lovely monkey sanctuary nearby worth a visit. Beautiful views and comfortable beds. Lovely walk round the area but need sturdy shoes. Lovely getaway for us over the new year period.

We loved our stay at Hannah's place. Lovely home, perfect for our family. The house is well set up with everything you'd need and really clean and tidy. Lots of things for our 2 year old daughter to do and play with and really safe for her too, stair gates, enclosed private yard etc. Hannah was very helpful with directions and providing things we asked for like a high chair and cot. The location is really peaceful and quiet and was perfectly situated to get to loads of great walks and other activities in the Beacons and surrounding areas. We would recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the region.

Stunning views - cabin near Hay-on-Wye

JoshRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Booked Georgie’s beautiful cabin for a weekend away for my wife’s birthday, and she kept saying all weekend: “I think this is the best place I’ve ever been!” That just about sums up our weekend; we were lucky with the weather, the clear skies were the perfect canvas for those stunning views from the veranda, and the drives to and from Hay-on-Wye were very pleasant (albeit incredibly pothole-y!). The cabin itself was perfectly set out (and we are fairly harsh critics of this sort of thing normally!) and we felt incredibly relaxed the whole time. Georgie was very helpful and accommodating, and we felt very looked after. Would definitely book again in a heartbeat!

Cosy Welsh 3 bed dog friendly canalside cottage

RosieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lock Cottage is a wonderful property. The location is idyllic and peaceful but with easy access to supermarkets etc in Welshpool and well placed for exploring Shropshire and Mid Wales. Berriew (with local shop and cafe) is a short walk down the canal and there's a great pub in the other direction. The house itself had everything we needed for a family holiday with 2 teenagers and dog. The house is really well laid out and such an easy, comfortable property to stay in. Emma and Andrew have clearly spent a lot of time thinking about what makes a great holiday and the house has been renovated to a very high standard. Little extras like dog towels, dog bowls, great outdoor facilities and lovely welcome pack were all very much appreciated. Emma was an excellent host who was very quick to respond to messages. We plan to return and bring bikes next time to take advantage of the excellent cycle facilities!

A beautiful lodge in a peaceful area. The lodge was spotless and felt very comfortable and homely. There was lovely cake on arrival and everything you could need was there to use over the weekend. Charlie was a lovely host and always replied quickly to any questions we had. Only a short walk in to the town where there were some lovely little shops and pubs. Thanks for a lovely stay, would definitely recommend staying here.

Luxury pod in a rural setting with private hot tub

JRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Myself & children stayed here for 2 nights and had the most peaceful, refreshing getaway. The pod was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully designed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay – from a well-equipped kitchen to a super comfy bed & gorgeous towels! The views were absolutely stunning – waking up to rolling hills and countryside silence was exactly what I needed to switch off and unwind. The private hot tub was amazing, so hot and clean & was ready when we arrived. Alwena was so friendly and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and some lovely little touches that made the stay really special. There are 2 sheep dogs on the farm, my daughter is scared of dogs but the hosts ensured they didn't come down to us again which was so appreciated. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with all the comforts, I’d highly recommend Camlad Valley Pod. I would definitely return! Thank you so much for a fabulous stay 😊

Samantha and Neil were the most wonderful hosts — warm, friendly, and always responsive. We felt so welcome and at home throughout our stay. We’ll absolutely be back in the future. Highly recommended!
