Log cabin on organic farm

AdrianRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The cabin is set in a beautiful location and is roomy and well equipped. Even in February we were cosy and warm. There are thoughtful touches like board games which we enjoyed playing. There was a handy guide to local restaurants and the hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend Tessa’s cabin , Thank you Rose & Adrian

The Barn/Beudy bach

JonRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely few days at the Barn, using is as a base to explore the valleys, and sights in Carmarthenshire. The Barn is lovely and cosy - and actually feels bigger than it looks on the pictures. We loved the wood burning stove, with fuel provided and fire made the first night, which was a real treat to use - and if you are visiting at the right time of year, be sure to look outside at the stars in the dead of night, because we were able to see so much. The place would be easy to miss if you didn’t know where you were going, but we had very clear instructions beforehand and found it no trouble. To anyone wondering about the internet - some reviews here mention WiFi, but as advertised, there is no WiFi - which we actually enjoyed. If you need internet, mobile data doesn’t really work inside the barn, but was available as soon as one stepped outside, which was fine for our satnav purposes. Ann also offered to help us access the internet if there was an issue, but this wasn’t needed.

The Bothy Cottage @ Oak Farm

Kiera-MaeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Alicia was so friendly and helpful and the stay at her place was exactly what I needed. She gave good local recommendations about where to get a food shop or where to have dinner. She also made us a delicious loaf of homemade bread and left us some Jam, marmalade and butter. This was a lovely touch. The place is quiet, the bed is comfy and the wood burning stove keeps the place so lovely and cosy!

This space is a little peace of heaven, a real home away from home. This is our second stay here, it has everything you need from a well equipped kitchen, cosy feel and board games and dvds for rainy days or family nights in. The kids love that they get their own space and we love that there’s so much room for all of us. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s lovely to wake up and see the sheep and chickens. Thank you Helen and Raymond, we had a lovely stay!

5*hayloft hideaway close to Botanical Garden Wales

ReeceRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We choose to stay here for its location, being around areas we wanted to visit, the accommodation was meant to be a hub which we wouldn’t spend too long in whilst our each day! We were extremely pleased with what we found on arrival! The accommodation was spotless and the description online was exactly what we got! Cosy, warm, home from home and everything we needed to cook and have a relaxing stay! The shower room was lovely a highlight. Worth every penny of what we spent! A very secluded, relaxing countryside stay but close enough to small towns for getting supplies! Being on a whaling farm posed no problem, smells of noise at all! Lois was on hand on arrival ti show us where to park and show us around the barn! She was always very quick to answer any questions before we arrived and had lots of recommendations when we spoke in person, many of which we checked out and thoroughly enjoyed! Anyone second guessing whether to stay or not, don’t! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you!

This was our second time staying at the pod and we loved it just as much as the first time! It truly is the perfect peaceful getaway. The app has fantastic recommendations for places to eat and activities to do! We especially enjoyed our walk around Llyn Brenig. Ceri is a wonderful host and just so so lovely, the fire and hot tub ready on our arrival was brilliant. Ceri and her family could not be more helpful too. Thank you for everything! Hafodty pod has easily become one of our favourite places and we will be back again x

Wern Ddu, Defynnog, scenic Brecon Beacons

MarcRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thanks to our host Georgina who was great and responded immediately to our queries about directions ahead of our trip. We had a lovely stay at Wern Ddu cottage. Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful. If you are looking for rural seclusion this is the place. The cottage is warm and cosy with the huge fire place and log burner just adding that extra bit of character and warmth. Really comfortable and has everything you need. The welcome pack of red wine, Welsh cakes, freshly laid eggs and milk was much appreciated and went down a treat. During our stay we visited the four waterfalls walk, climbed Pen y fan and walked around one of the reservoirs. I’d highly recommend The three horseshoes pub which was lovely and the food was delicious. All in all we loved our stay and would be back in a heart beat.

Y Boidy Bach

TiffanyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We booked with less than 24 hours notice, Leanne moved us in to the smaller cottage, which was indeed perfect for us, as we didn’t need all the bedrooms anyways. The garden was secure so perfect for the two dogs. The kitchen has more pots/pans utensils than my own kitchen, I seen on other reviews of quests being too cold, we didn’t find that at all in the slightest, it was perfect. The fire a lovely touch.. then the magic happened, we jumped in to bed, and oh my days, it was the softest bedding and sheets.. reminded me of my late grans washing… and the smell!! Omg I need to know what you use!! We will definitely return with the kids and spend longer next time. Thank you so much for putting us up with such short notice. The hot tub was an added bonus.we loved everything about it. We used the clothes drying rack to stop the dogs getting in to the lounge, although they did come in to chill on and off. But they were happy enough in the kitchen which was spacious. Two back doors was a bonus

Rural Romantic Retreat At Sgubor Fach

AlexRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Ffion’s cottage. The views from it were incredible. It’s not every day you get to sit in a hot tub looking over the distant hills like that. The inside was extremely clean and the kitchen was very well equipped which allowed us to cook anything we wanted each night. We would definitely recommend this place to others.
