From the moment of booking Claire was very responsive and friendly, answering questions, and sending information on finding the cottage and local amenities. The cottage itself was in every way luxurious, immaculately clean, beautiful furnishings and exceptionally well equipped. The hosts have really thought about how they would like their guests to feel whilst staying there and honestly, we don't think they had left anything out, from the gorgeous toiletries, luxury bedding to the welcome breakfast basket, which was a real treat. We would highly recommend Claire and Horton Cottage to anyone staying in this beautiful part of the country, set in a quiet little village with central Perth being very accessible. Thank you for hosting us we will be back.

Me and my partner stayed here for her 30th and our Christmas break away. It’s a beautiful, quiet and peaceful spot with a great host who was always ready to help with anything. Leigh made it extra special for us with the intricate touches for the birthday surprise. Wonderful conditions in the interior of the cabin and great little kitchen, managed to cook a Christmas steak dinner thanks to the hob and the air fryer. Thanks again for making our stay so special and comfortable Leigh.

What a little gem this place was. So cosy and warm and the bed was so comfortable. The place was immaculate. Everything we needed was provided. We even had eggs for breakfast from the hens. Can’t wait to return. Culross is such a great place steeped in history and plenty of walks from the door. The binoculars supplied were very much appreciated too. We even took them on our walks to look at the oyster catchers, cormorants, herons etc. We were very sad to leave. Loved the fact we had secure off street parking for the whole time. Sophie was a brilliant host and we really appreciated the extensive local info that was provided. Would really recommend The Red Lion Pub. Very friendly and the pies are great. We had a takeaway from Jade House Chinese who delivered when we felt like staying in and relaxing. Wish we had time to try the tacos at the stables. Very special part of the world.
