Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Port Elgin

This is our second year staying over Christmas and using this place to host our families. It has everything we need to put on a dinner and enjoy the holiday. The place is clean and comfortable and has plenty of room to meet our needs. Jesse is very responsive and is eager to help if they can. We can't wait for our next stay.

Brendan’s place was exactly as described…clean, comfortable and with all the amenities and facilities required for our group. We had a great 3 night stay, conveniently located near the village. We didn’t use the shuttle, chose to walk to The Blue Mountains village during our visit. The walk itself wasn’t very easy as there was a lot of snow and not a clear marked walking path, but we still did it a couple of times a day as that provided us more flexibility than driving, paying for parking or booking and waiting for the shuttle, and the kids enjoyed walking in the snow. We would certainly recommend Brendan’s place and would not hesitate to book again for our next visit.

The setting is beautiful; very peaceful without feeling remote. The renovations done to the farm house are tasteful and the home is beautifully decorated. All appliances are new and easy to use. Kitchen is well equipped. There are several options for eating: dining room, kitchen stools, screened in patio, outside. The living room was comfortable and includes a working wood fireplace. Johanna was extremely proactive in providing information and asking if all was as expected. As a small group of longtime friends this was exactly what we were hoping for. There was lots of common space, individual bedrooms, good internet connection. Would be very likely to rent again if/when we were to go to this area again.

Well equipped cottage, close to the beach on a quiet street. A fire pit, BBQ and 2 outdoor spaces. A second bathroom would have been handy but overall it worked well for us. Host was very responsive and provided lots of details.

My daughter and I stayed with Wendy 2 years ago and enjoyed cross country skiing at Mansfield Outdoor Centre. We came back again to ski up at Scenic caves. Wendy’s place is cozy and peaceful. She is easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at Peggy’s and we definitely will stay there again. It’s clean & well stocked with everything we would need. Peggy is wonderful to deal with and a great host. The location is perfect for what we need. The property is beautiful. Nothing negative about it.

Loved this place. Great spot for a couple. Walking distance to everything in downtown Collingwood. Our vehicle was safe in the parking lot. The unit was cozy, functional and had everything we needed. The bedroom was larger than expected. We really enjoyed our stay.

I would like to take a moment to share my great experience of staying at Shauna’s place. Firstly, this pace is beautifully located right on the shore of Georgian Bay. Secondly, it was very easy to find and to get in as Shauna gave me clear instructions right away. On top of that, Shauna provided with a full list of activities and things to do in the neighbourhood. The place itself is cozy, sparkling clean and has everything the travellers need including wonderful coffee machine. Shauna is an outstanding host. I highly recommend her place. Thank you.

By far one of the best vacations I have been on. The place was clean, well decorated, cozy and comfortable. Beautiful views from the living space and tons of great light from the outside. The village is less than 10 minutes away, perfect to ski, walk around, and tons of restaurants. The beach is just around the corner which is pristine and beautiful. The hosts were proactive and still very hands off, left us a basket of clean sheets and towels outside our door a few days into our trip without us having to ask. Both us and our dogs loved every minute of this trip, and we will definitely be back.

Sabine’s place is a true gem in the Blue Mountains. It’s the perfect size, location, and everything was beautifully decorated and modern. The beds were super comfortable. What blew us all away was the views of the blue mountains from the living room. Everything was a 10/10 for us, the hot tub was not too far and a super nice added feature. Sabine was an awesome host, great communication and super accommodating. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Blue Mountain!

Rented this air b and b for a girls weekend getaway for skiing, good eats & the spa. We were so close to the village. Walking distance which was nice for later evening activities! The space was even better than the photos. So impressed with the layout and felt right at home. Definitely will book again!

Amazing stay ! Don’t hesitate in booking here. Everything is nearby including a hot tub and restaurant within a 30 second walk. We stayed two nights and had a blast going to the village with the kids. Very convenient and lots to do and the space was perfect. We plan on going back just mom and dad :). Awesome Airbnb !

We had an awesome experience! The location suited our needs perfectly! Close to the North chair lift, yet secluded and very private!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could ask for!
