Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Port Elgin

Great place to stay! It was better than expected. Everything was so clean and had a wonderful smell. Large backyard to play as well. Highly recommended!

Stayed for the 3rd time. Nice to have a place for my family to go with all the fun games in the basement. A few things changed since our last stay couple weeks before. Different colour couch covers. A fun little phone added to the Barbie room which my daughter loved. Dancing game in the basement. The new living room wallpaper appeared to be done with packing tape. It’s nice. But looked sloppy. But all and all this house is great! We will definitely stay again when we come back to visit my family around the corner from this house. Rohit is a wonderful host.

We had a lovely stay in Port Elgin. The nearby beach is stunning. Lisa's place is clean and very tidy. It was comfortbale for our large wedding party. Excellent stay!

Cute unique house. Has everything you need. Susan was quick to respond to any questions. Went out of her way to help when we blew a fuse🤦‍♀️. Highly recommended.

It was the best R&R Christmas we've had in yrs. This place isn't Cuba at Christmas but if you're looking for a place just as relaxing, home-front feeling, and as outstanding as seeing palm trees within snow, this is it. We loved it. Loved the decor, loved the space, the kitchen was well equipped, the coffee bar, the Air Fryer was a bonus for left-overs, the linens both bed and bathroom were above average. I would actually like to know where they purchased their pillows? Wonderfully friendly neighborhood. Very clean. If you want the best of the best in a rustic/relaxing setting place for getting away for a few days, I highly recommend this place. It's within town but feels and sounds like you're away from it. 5+ Josef, and Thank You Very Much for opening up your home to us.

Dorothy's was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. The entire space is super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the forest and the firepit area make it a serene and relaxing environment to spend a weekend away.

My daughter and I stayed with Wendy 2 years ago and enjoyed cross country skiing at Mansfield Outdoor Centre. We came back again to ski up at Scenic caves. Wendy’s place is cozy and peaceful. She is easy to communicate with and very responsive. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

What a fabulous apartment above a garage, so there was lots of privacy. Nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains were much appreciated. Also, we had the whole backyard to ourselves and it was only a short distance to a pleasant beach. Thank you Douglas for a lovely stay.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming rustic apartment with a unique twist—a donkey experience that made the trip unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and were immersed in nature's tranquility, with the cabin tucked away in a serene, wooded setting. We visited with our dog and he enjoyed as much. They also had special treats and towels for our pup. Mary and Don are very friendly and also spent time with us and our pup. The place had all the essentials you'd need for a cozy getaway with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The interiors were thoughtfully decorated (donkey theme) that added to the homely atmosphere. If you love the outdoors but don’t want to sacrifice comfort, this cabin hits the sweet spot. What made this trip stand out, was the donkey experience. A couple of friendly donkeys live on the property, and guests are invited to interact with them. You can feed them, brush them. Highly recommend this place.

Our stay at Heidi’s place was lovely. The property is beautiful, and the room was cozy and spacious. It was great to have a fire to light at night, and the bed was very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Heaframe. Our girls loved the toys and games, and we enjoyed the sauna every day. Perfect place to enjoy a few relaxing days over the holiday break. Hosts are very responsive and friendly. We’ll be back!

We spent a wonderful two nights at Karen and Steven’s airbnb. We unexpectedly had the first snow of the year during our stay and it was like a magical winter wonderland. We felt so cozy inside with the fireplace watching the snow slowly falling outside. We went on an amazing hike on old baldy trail which was easily accessed right from the backyard of the property on foot. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and given the snow, we were thankful that we had great walkable options. We so hope to be able to come back and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods and nature. Thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful, cozy, private and peaceful log cabin. Everything you could ever need is available at this property, and our host Susan was incredibly accommodating, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Beautiful, quiet area, short walk to the amazing beach, and hiking/walking trail very close by. Highly recommend this wonderful property for a relaxing getaway!

What a magical experience. My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Neil's cabin for two nights and it was truly amazing. Neil was a gracious host, providing us with ample resources about his property, the amenities, and all the amazing activities for guests to do. He was extremely kind, helpful, and always responsive. The property was beautiful and the cabin was so sweet. It truly felt like a magical experience. We went in the winter and it was a true winter wonderland. Before our arrival, I was worried if the woodstove would keep us warm enough during the winter. The answer is it does keep you very warm and comfortable! We would love to come back to experience Neil's property during all seasons. Highly recommend checking it out!

Liz was very responsive and the place was as described . Overall had a good stay with family. Ours was a winter stay and we spent good amount of time in the cottage. We enjoyed playing the board games and browsing through the books.

Love. This. Place. Peaceful and just what we needed. Such a wonderful cabin in the woods with all the comforts and amenities you need for a relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and the beautiful forest views the most! We will be back!

Our reactive dog was able to have free run of this property. No neighbours, no livestock, no worries about off leash play. Perfectly private, and wonderfully cosy, with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for another lovely visit - we'll be back.
