Unique stay in this converted windmill, with magical peaceful surroundings. We were blessed with good weather so could sit outside and walk our 2 dogs on the private land. There are limited cooking facilities but that doesn't detract from the stay and we were provided with a lovely breakfast tray, including butter, jams , bread. yogurts, milk fruit, cheese. all locally sourced. there are extra blankets for chilly nights and a heater in the bedroom. would stay again

The house and the appartment are a lucky find. We used a rental car to get around and could explore Coimbra, countless castles and the inner parts of Portugal from in a unique way. Joanne and John make you feel right at home in their garden paradise, and the appartment has everything you need. Lamas is a small town, but perfect for a calm stay inside the real portugal.

Very exotic and quiet environment. Very clean and tastefully decorated home. Lots of friendly animals for kids. Very welcoming and very kind host. Recommended.
