Vacation rentals in Pleasant Hill

Large clean home with a pristine kitchen and absolutely awesome, huge, modern upstairs bathroom! Comfortable living room too. Was perfect for our stay for our group of 7. Off street parking a plus. Would recommend!!!

The house was just as described. Very peaceful location, But easy to get around town in a very short amount of time. Next time I am in the Des moines area I will try to book the house again. The host Jeannette was very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Alexander's! Sparkling clean, well -appointed kitchen, and gorgeous view of downtown Des Moines. Alexander was quick to respond to questions and was flexible with our check-in time which we really appreciated. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Great instructions, super cozy, and in a perfect location in town. Upon checking in, first things of note wer that the place smelled nice, everything was clean and tiday, the carpet is plush, the bed is COMFY, loved that there were thoughtful notes and info about the city. THANKS for having coffee and some potato chips available. So nice to have when you wake up or need a snack! Perfect for our quick weekend getaway to explore DSM for the first time! Thanks, Dillon!

We did a girls night out and wished we could’ve spent more time at this house. It’s like a museum for the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. So much attention to detail was put into the design and decorating of this house with some really cool personal touches about the family who owns it. The pool looks amazing and wish we could’ve used it but we went in February. The kitchen was stocked fabulously. Book 2-3 days if you can so you can enjoy it thoroughly. Would definitely stay again! We had a late family Christmas (meet up in the middl states wise) and they even left a Christmas tree up 🤩 we enjoyed a hockey game in town and enjoyed having the hot tub to warm up after! Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby as well 💯.

This is a great house. Very clean and has everything we needed while we visited family in the area. Menika was quick to respond and a great host. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was the perfect place for our weekend wedding dress shopping getaway! The kitchen was well stocked making it simple to cook for our small group and the coffee syrups were a great welcoming touch! Beautiful natural tone modern decor throughout the house with cozy touches in every room that made it a very relaxing place to stay!

This is our second stay, Len and Sharon are awesome! We love staying here this time of year because the American Eagles are so plentiful. There is a wood fireplace and Len keeps you stocked with firewood. We like sitting in the living room, with a warm fire crackling and looking out the two large sliding doors with a good cup of coffee, watching many different species of birds feeding at the bird feeder right off the deck and watching the eagles soar by. Everything is sparkling clean and so welcoming. We haven’t found a better spot to unwind and relax.
