Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Plaza Area, Kansas City

It was a real treat to stay at this utterly charming historic home! It was incredibly cozy and comfortable and perfect for a short weekend near the Plaza. Hosts were very helpful and responsive and accommodating of our needs. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in KC.

This place was just perfect for our weekend in Kansas City! It was close to everything, easy to find, comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! We appreciated the off-street, safe, well-lit parking area. The host, Ruth, was wonderful! Super quick to respond and very friendly. We will definitely recommend it to any friends/family visiting KC! Thank you!

The house was very cozy and exceeded our expectations. There were lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay more comfortable. Cathy made us feel very welcome and she went above and beyond during our stay. We would definitely book again.

Absolute gem. Centralized location and we were able to be close to GEHA Field and the plaza. We felt very safe at this house and the house is beautiful. Nadia is very responsive and helpful. The house is accommodating for all the couples in our house. We appreciated the house has a garage and the full kitchen. House was decorated for the holidays as well and felt like home. We will be back!

We loved our stay- house was comfy and clean. Quite safe neighborhood, nice yard, well stocked kitchen that we could actually use. Only issue is the fireplace in the photos doesn’t work- only the electric one does. Not sure it should count as a listed amenity. But other than that it was a great stay!

Eric and his team do an awesome job keeping guests informed. For example, the property isn't listed on GPS but Eric's description of the route is spot on and leads you right to the property. The property on entry was spotless, and as an added bonus, the garage was available for vehicles in the frigid KCMO temps. Eric and the team are also incredibly responsive: for example the brutal temps froze a toilet line and they responded immediately when I informed them with tips to thaw it. My team and I were looking for a private location where we could have meetings with zero distractions that happen in the city. This was the perfect site.

Came in town with my kids for a Chiefs game. We enjoyed our stay and the area. House was great, exactly what we needed. Casy was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at this place! Easy parking, quiet, very comfortable place. Joanna was very responsive the couple of times we needed her. We would stay here again!

We spent the weekend at this lovely spot for the playoffs, and it was exactly what we needed after being out and about. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to everything—just a 15-20 minute ride away. The apartment’s layout is fantastic, everything was spotless, and check-in was a breeze. And the shower? Absolutely amazing! Mary Grace was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our stay even better. If the Bills play the Chiefs again, we’ll definitely be back at her place!

Overall the unit was nice (clean accommodations, nice fitness center in the building, and parking included in the rate). There was one issue with getting a 2nd key fob that I requested…it turned out to not be available but the owner and his team provided some compensation after my stay to address the situation, so in the end they “made it right”. That’s an important element in providing strong customer service. As noted in my comments, future guests should be aware that the area can be rather noisy at night with police and emergency aid sirens.

Jacob's place was just how it was described- bigger than what we expected!, would stay again if we are back in KC Mo.

This place is one of a kind & has such a unique vibe. It was perfect for our family group of 8 couples. We had the full Kansas City experience. We found a murder mystery company to host a private Gatsby themed murder mystery party for just the 8 of us. We dressed up in 1920s outfits & had an absolute blast.

Nice place with a great location for our needs. We likely wouldn’t stay here again if a winter storm was expected and we had to make it to doctor’s appointments but in better weather conditions, we would be choose this again!

We couldn’t have been happier with the location of this property. Walkable to restaurants, golf, coffee spots, parks and more. With adult children & grand kids joining us everyone could be on their own schedule. I would have liked a real door instead of a closet door on the room under the eaves for privacy. The kitchen was nicely updated with great appliances and my personal fav ~ a milk frother, but a bit tight for the 6 adults we had staying here. Parking in the garage was an asset, particularly when more than 3” of snow fell on the Saturday of our stay. I would recommend this home if you’re looking for someplace centrally located and in a great neighborhood in PV!
