Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Plaza Area, Kansas City

I will definitely be staying here again. Great location. Amazing parking at this house also so that’s always a plus. Quiet neighborhood but still 5 min from everything in the area. I can literally walk to every restaurant in the plaza. A++

This place was just perfect for our weekend in Kansas City! It was close to everything, easy to find, comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! We appreciated the off-street, safe, well-lit parking area. The host, Ruth, was wonderful! Super quick to respond and very friendly. We will definitely recommend it to any friends/family visiting KC! Thank you!

Nadia's place was perfect for our family to stay in. It was close to many things to eat, see, do. We had no problems with checking in or finding things we needed in the house.

The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. The hosts were accommodating, when we got stuck in a snowstorm. This was our second time renting this Airbnb and it was great both times !

Came in town with my kids for a Chiefs game. We enjoyed our stay and the area. House was great, exactly what we needed. Casy was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Johnna and Dominic are great hosts! The spot was perfect, easy to get to everything we needed in KC. They have set the space up to function so well, definitely recommend staying at her place if you’re in the area! Having the patio out back was a plus as well. Above all, Johnna was exceptionally kind and would be the best host for anyone visiting the area!

Comfortable stay for 5 guys in for the weekend. Large King size beds are in all 5 bedrooms, more on the firmer side for those wondering. Living room space for 5 was a bit small, but we didn't spend a ton of time inside. Location was convenient, 18min to downtown, 20min to GEHA. Showers are a bit tight, minus the shower with the sliding door. First floor was cooler, second floor was an oven even with the heat set at a reasonable temperature of 70. 2nd floor smaller shower did not have great water pressure. Minor inconveniences however. For the price point, it's comfy and it's a convenient location.

We spent the weekend at this lovely spot for the playoffs, and it was exactly what we needed after being out and about. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to everything—just a 15-20 minute ride away. The apartment’s layout is fantastic, everything was spotless, and check-in was a breeze. And the shower? Absolutely amazing! Mary Grace was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our stay even better. If the Bills play the Chiefs again, we’ll definitely be back at her place!

Easy to communicate with. Super comfy beds. Great location. 15 minute walk to the downtown area. We loved the open space and the antique furniture. So much character. We watched the sunrise and sunset in the super comfy nook area. Overall a quiet space. It’s just an older home so guests below can be heard pretty well if in the living space, but everyone is respectful of quiet hours. Planet Comicon Event Guests took up a lot parking downtown including on our street, but we shared the long driveway parking when necessary with other house guests. Super friendly neighborhood.

I always feel at home when staying in Jacob’s space. Very quiet, spacious, and clean. The space heater, Keurig coffee maker and coffee varieties are much appreciated amenities. Thank you Jacob!

This place is one of a kind & has such a unique vibe. It was perfect for our family group of 8 couples. We had the full Kansas City experience. We found a murder mystery company to host a private Gatsby themed murder mystery party for just the 8 of us. We dressed up in 1920s outfits & had an absolute blast.

We couldn’t have been happier with the location of this property. Walkable to restaurants, golf, coffee spots, parks and more. With adult children & grand kids joining us everyone could be on their own schedule. I would have liked a real door instead of a closet door on the room under the eaves for privacy. The kitchen was nicely updated with great appliances and my personal fav ~ a milk frother, but a bit tight for the 6 adults we had staying here. Parking in the garage was an asset, particularly when more than 3” of snow fell on the Saturday of our stay. I would recommend this home if you’re looking for someplace centrally located and in a great neighborhood in PV!

This was an amazing place to stay for our month rotating at Research Medical Center for a medical school rotation. Private, peaceful, and quiet. Would definitely stay again!
