We had a super nice week at La Gomera at Christine's place. The small cottage is located in the quiet mountain village of El Guro and is very tastefully, individually and comfortably furnished. Everything you need is there. From the terrace or balcony you have a magnificent view of the Valle Gran Rey. As a welcome, we received very tasty, freshly harvested mangoes from the neighbor Mike. He also took care of drinking water supply. Thanks for that! In the morning we were woken up by several roosters - those who are sensitive to noise should take Oropax with us.😉 You shouldn't be afraid of geckos either: they surprised us one evening in the bedroom.But 😅 they don't do anything and are very shy. Otherwise, the whole island offers a lot of peace and breathtaking landscapes and above all numerous hiking trails in all levels of difficulty. We thank you Christine for the great time we had at the property and are happy to recommend it.

I have spent some days in the very nice studio and had a wonderfull time in Alojera, I specially liked that it is a remote place in great landscape, and the studio was for me a perfect base for exploring the forests and the seashore... Whenever I needed something, I got immediate response from Catherine, also when I got hurt by a big wave at the pier of Playa de Alojera - don't walk out to the end of the pier when the waves are high. There is no warning sign, but the sea is wild and unpredictable down there, amazing scenery but better stay close to the shore!

Nelba's place deserves more stars than can be given! The location alone leaves no dreams unfulfilled. In the evening to fall asleep to the sound of the sea, to look into the starry sky on the giant terrace after sunset, in front of it a delicious fish in the cute restaurant - dreams come true ! Nelba was very nimble in communication, the apartment was absolutely clean and the kitchen perfectly equipped, there were cuddly blankets for the evenings outside, beach towels etc, everything your heart desires. Thank you, dear Nelba, for allowing us such a nice holiday. We'll be very happy to come back ! Claudia
