Vacation rentals with beach access in Petone

Words really can’t explain how fantastic this little place has been for me, everything about the place from the great linen to the comfortable sofa to the coffee and peanut butter made me feel like I’d walked into my own home. I used to live round the corner and being here has been a beautiful, easy, welcoming reminder of my old neighbourhood and life. Thank you for letting me bring my wee dog, it’s been perfect for us.

This AirBnB was in a beautiful location and very well-equipped, while being just a quick drive from main Wellington attractions. Very cozy and comfy - would recommend!

We had an amazing stay. Absolutely fantastic location right on Oriental Parade. The cable car ride to enter and exit added to the cool vibe and experience of our stay. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed watching swimmers and yachts in the bay over the weekend. The continental breakfast was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. We will definitely stay again another time. 10/10

Had a lovely stay at the Penthouse. Giles was an incredible host. We loved the proximity to Evans Beach and our friends nearby. Not listed as an amenity but Giles' penthouse has a huge collection of DVD films that were fun to look through. Had a great stay, would definitely book again!

Modern 2-storey apartment with fun interior design and quirky bathroom features. Bedrooms were spacious and living/dining had a nice view to the hillside. Excellent location being near airport, regular Bus no. 2 to city and Zealandia, supermarkets, Lyall Bay/Cafe and Weta workshop a must. Although kitchenette is downstairs would suggest serving trays be provided to carry cutleries with food/drinks. I'm a light sleeper so planes and wind a bit noisy. Otherwise we had a most enjoyable stay from a wonderful friendly and helpful host.

Kate’s place was fantastic. Clean, comfortable and with an amazing location on the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the ocean.

This was an absolutely lovely home! Lia's attention to detail was amazing - we didn't want for anything!! It was so peaceful and relaxing sitting in the landscaped backyard in the warm sun after lunch out with a long walk in the neighborhood. The beds and linens were superb and we slept deeply and comfortably so we were always ready for the day. There were so many "extras" in the home - lots of storage, a heated master bathroom floor(!), a tankless water heater so there was always hot water and a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The amenities were amazing! We were extremely happy staying there for three weeks and we would highly recommend this home to anyone who vacations in Wellington!

Great weekend stay at Cathy's. Was a bonus that it was close proximity to families we were visiting. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the comforts of your lovely home -clean, light, airy with comfy beds & great air con. Cathy was lovely and accessible when needed. The Pauatahanui inlet walkway (a stone's throw away) is stunning as is the walk further around towards the mariner and beach on west side. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at local Ruby's cafe. AMAZING!! perfectly describes this Airbnb. I booked this wonderful home for my family visiting over from Australia for 2 nights. It's much better in person, than in the listing photos. They loved it and wished it was available for another night. It was spacious and comfortable for 6 persons. Other than the dishwasher being out of order, everything else they needed was there to use. There's also a downstairs area where family can hang out. Prem and Sneh are excellent hosts. Can definitely recommend.

Great place with amazing views, nice and quiet location, and Donna was very helpful. Our family had everything we needed and felt at home during our stay.

We were staying only for two nights but wish stay more then week to enjoy this home and place around. We love it!

Very clean and easy one night stop. Alvero was clear in the check in instructions. Room was well presented, lots of light. Bed was quite firm but I slept well despite Wellington gale winds, the double glazing kept it cozy! Clean bathroom. Quick chat with Alvero who was very nice. 30 min walk from CBD or 10 mins on frequent bus route, stop right outside. Felt safe for solo female traveller.

This is the type of AirBnb that you hesitate to provide the glowing recommendation it desires as you want it to be available next time you would like to book it. Dont hesitate if your budget extends for this top range option - you will have no regrets. Only negative is the parking is not included but plenty of public parking nearby that you can utilize. We will be back, which is the best recommendation I can give and if this was available would book it immediately.

Loved Craig's place!! Fantastic view of Wellington Harbor and city area. Walking distance to local attractions and cafes, including the fantastic museum. Unit was well stocked and very comfortable. Communication from Craig was excellent. Highly Recommend!!

Lovely cosy place. Very central but quiete somehow. I enjoying listening to the birds chirping in the morning when I open the window. Would go back!

I had a great time in Donnas accomodation, which is located close to the city centre, the Mount Victoria (incl. lookout) and the Te Papa museum. The bedroom is very spacious as well as the bathroom, both well equipped and lovely furnished, of course very clean. Donna and Chris are very generous people, helpful and very communicative in a lovely way. If I ever come back to Wellington I would definitely try to be there again!

What a fabulous flat. The views were stunning. Wall down the street to the beach area. Quick drive to restaurants and groceries. City centre only a short drive as well. Lovely spacious flat. Super comfy beds. Kitchen is so well stocked. We cooked many meals at home. Love when we find a kitchen we can actually make family meals in. They spices, oils, loads of pots and pans. Cooks heaven. Loved watching the planes take off and land. Just a fantastic flat all around.
