Monthly Rentals in Pemonia

What can I say- such a wonderful place I almost don’t want others to know about it! Sofia was so kind and full of recommendations. Manos from villas4u was very helpful and responsive. We were lucky with the weather in late October and the extra for the heated pool was worth it to be able to use it every day. As a family of six, we had plenty of space to relax and spread out. The various terraces helped us get our dose of vitamin D. The nearest big supermarket is about 15-20 mins away. Same for gorgeous beaches and grey restaurants. We were looking for a private, relaxed time and we got that in spades. We did small trips to Lake Kournas, to the beach, to the monasteries (Chryssopigi is very friendly and we got a great tour!) Sunrise from the top terrace was an addictive way to start my day. What a breathtaking place. The only small things to mention are that the Google map linked from here took us too far. So be aware of that! We would love to visit again soon. Thank you!

Very beautiful and lovely house with awesome garden, bbq and lemon trees. We felt right at home, our son (3) loved to play in the garden and with the cats. There are plenty of beaches, tavernas, cities and sights within a short car drive

We stayed at Despina's in Fres in February and March. From meeting us at the airport and helping us pick up our hire car she was always available if we needed advice. Driving into Fres you head for the village square and drive through it through an archway. Carry on this road for about 300m. Just beyond a small church on the left you will see it in front of you. There is a small undercover car parking space with the stairs to get to the flat. Despina's father lives in the flat below. He is very kind and despite not speaking English we managed to understand each other. We were also lucky to be given lemons, oranges,eggs and olive oil from his garden. The area is beautiful and rural with the sounds of goats and chickens to listen to whilst sipping wine on the balcony looking towards the sea. The area is a great base for exploring especially Vamos, Almyrida and the Apokoronas region. Chania and Rethymno are not too far either. I can't recommend Despina's place highly enough.

A comfortable house in a beautiful setting This is our second stay at Kalliopi's, and we are very satisfied. The house, a few minutes' walk from the village, has all the useful amenities. Small supermarket in the center of the village for everyday needs. We really enjoyed the terrace, in front of a superb landscape over the valley and the mountains opposite. Very nice, in the evening at sunset, back from a day of hiking. Perfectly quiet. Kalliopi always responds very quickly to any questions and is attentive to the satisfaction of tenants during their stay, while being discreet. A perfect stay that we will repeat.
