It's just a piece of paradise! The villa and the surroundings are divinely picturesque! It's well located on the hill top that allows you to see the sea from three sides! Villa is fully completed with everything that you can be in need of! The rooms are spacious and very authentically decorated. The cute and refreshing pool is even larger than on photos! The kitchen is like fully equipped with every small detail! Julia and Stavros were so sweet and welcoming! They gave us good tips about places to visit and to eat. All the time we were given some cute things from them: freshly cooked local dishes, her own olives and olive oil, home eggs and herbs. They've advised us great beaches and islands, as well as cute tavernas. We are absolutely sure that we'll come back to this wonderful villa and its surroundings!

Beautiful family home, finally a real Airbnb, we are really in a local's home, we feel the soul of the family with the decoration. It's not just a place to rent, but it feels like Greek. This place exactly matched our family who loved this old house style. A big thank you to Eleni. We dream of going back in summer to enjoy the garden even more.

We stayed for a month at María’s place. It was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and María was always responsive, answered our questions, was patient with my questions and humour and went out of her way to make us feel at home. Early mornings watching the sun come up over the mountains, the rustling of the Bougainvillea flowers and Jasmine, the espresso and fresh squeezed orange juice, local bread from the bakery on the corner, cheese, honey, spices picked from the hills, homemade jam from Maria and Yanis at the corner market, a walk in the hills and a swim in the afternoon. The town is very small, the people friendly and the architecture and charm of the winding streets a delight. Cats on every corner, long nights with red wine talking in the kitchen or in the backyard under the stars, hours to write or read or listen or remember how beautiful and precious the small, intimate things are. It was an honour to discover a little of Galaxidi here.
