The place is amazing. Melbin is a very good host, very friendly and treats guests like family. He helped us with the itinerary and cab for the trip around Munnar. The stay was amazing, zero hassles. About the place: The road which leads to the stay from the main road is a bit narrow. But Melbin himself arrived and took us in his car to directly to the stay. The place, the architecture, the plan, the accessories and service is all great. The view, nature, surroundings is nothing less than exceptional. Thank you Melbin for making the stay memorable

Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, the cottage offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the picturesque view of the river right in front of the room.The water was not only refreshing but also perfectly complemented the surrounding nature's ambiance. Moreover, I was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable arrangement and coordination of the property. From the cozy interiors of the cottage to the well-maintained surroundings, every aspect of the property exuded warmth and hospitality. My stay at this beautiful cottage was truly amazing, thanks to its idyllic location, refreshing riverfront experience, and impeccable property arrangement. The beauty,warmth&peace of this place cannot be put down in words. One has to stay there to truly witness the magic. Like me if you love Kerala cuisine then you will love the food!!The love that is put into making it, feels like you're eating at home and the fact that the veggies and fruits are sourced from their own land,adds to the taste. Abel, Mohan Chetta, Emmanuel & Liben Chetan are so helpful and warm that it would feel like you know then for ages. They even took the effort to make food seperately for my 7 month old with so much love. They will be there for you any time you need them &yet give you your undisturbed privacy as well. The passion they have for the place & it's history is impressive and heartwarming!You have the option of going out & you can just do small hikes around the property or just relax in the hammock or the deck. This place truly helps you disconnect & that's what we did.Sunitha you are a wonderful host and you have created the most beautiful sanctuary!

a special place has been created here - lovely landscaped garden areas and the mudhut itself was spacious, clean and very well presented. outside there were stunning mountain views. the meals were delicious and service was friendly (note that because of the remote location there isn't really anywhere else to dine). it is a long journey from kochi but absolutley worth it, highly recommend.

Thomas was a very hospitable host that managed to solve our every need. He stays right beside so it was easy for him to come down in case of any problems we faced. Would recommend others to stay for sure.

We took a private pool cottage with two bedrooms for our family of 5 including two kids. The cottage was neat, private and the pool was the right size for the kids. The pool was also maintained well. The food was homely and tasty and was reasonable price. There was a small water fall and a stream inside the property. They are still developing the property and it would have been nice to have. a small hike in the property with pathways through the cardamom plantations. They gave coupons for us to the nearby vagamon heights adventure park which was also great and did some activities there Vipin , the caretaker was always available on phone. He was very pleasant and always ready to help with all our needs. A great place for a family vacation

A Stay to Remember! Our experience at this Airbnb in Idukki was nothing short of magical. The view was absolutely mesmerizing—clouds literally touched our faces! We just couldn’t get enough of the scenery; from sunrise to sunset, the place offered breathtaking views of the lake and hills right from the property’s own viewpoint. The caretaker was incredibly sweet and so cooperative, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. A big shoutout to the owner too, who connected us with a local driver—such a gem of a person! He took us to some stunning hidden spots and made our trip even more special. If you're looking for peace, beauty, and a warm local touch, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back!

The Planter''s Foyer is in a magical place, Kamballikad. It is the result of friends and families coming together under the shared vision of natural building and nature based living. The architectural touches are just divine, from the use of natural materials like stone, wood and reclaimed stuff, to antique pieces and soulful stuff dotting everything - it is quite something- a class apart from the average concrete monstrosity put together usually in Kerala. We booked for two days and stayed on location the whole time. Making walks to find sunrise and sunset spots, to being served meals three times a day by the caretaker Shijo- which had its highlights: Idiappam, the pork curry, among many things. I loved the skylight in the bathrooms, the shade for the lamps, the wooden boxes for all electrical fixtures. The last stretch to the location is a task for the unseasoned driver, the cllimb is very steep and I struggled, but we could have utilised the caretaker's offer to drive up
