Juan Pablo and his family took us in as family. Our Spanish is not the greatest however they had much patience ( and Google Translate). Juan Pablo's father-Freddy showed us around the garden in which he takes much pride in. He gave us fruit and showed us how to extract sugar cane juice and made a delicious drink for us. Casa Fatima is a very spacious and comfortable apartment. It is only a 20 minute walk to town where there are many ethnic restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and many thanks to Juanpa, Freddy and Maria. We would stay here again. Mary and Ralph

The house is exactly like it looks in the photos. In the kitchen there is crockery and useful appliances for cooking, it has a refrigerator and a bottle of purified water. Each carefully prepared room, the beds are very comfortable; clean and soft towels, the shower, warm, delicious with water temperature adjustable to your liking. The contact with nature, the song of the birds and its pure air, close to the village but far from the noise make this a unique place. We would definitely visit again. If, as a child, you dreamed of living in your treehouse ... then this place is for you ! Wide open vistas, sunshine on your porch from sunrise to sunset, huge windows without glass, sweet breezes, exotic birds in the mandarin trees below, very beautiful setting in mountain valley, sounds of the lovely river below :) Excellent for those enjoying watching birds ; kestrels hovering on ridgeline across the narrow valley, hummingbird saying Good Morning at the open window by my bed, blue tanagers eating mandarins below me and a Mot Mot poising perfectly for a photo 15 feet from the hammock on the porch ! To name but a few of many :) Built in simple style, with reliable wifi, water, cooktop and delicious HOT showers ! Kind hosts :)
