Waterfront vacation rentals in Othón P. Blanco

We booked Urs's place in June. It was perfect for my wife and in-laws as each room had its own bathroom. The best thing about this place is the views from the Terrace. Olivia met us upon our arrival to show us the place and give us the code and key for the main door. This place has everything you will need during your stay. We had to leave a few days early because a hurricane that was about to come and was impressed with the communication with Olivia. She made sure to let us know what the protocols would be and ensure that she would make sure we would be fine. I usually visit Mahahual once a year and I will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful beach, relaxing location and comfortable stay! Friendly caretakers and very responsive owner/manager! Great place! Would book again without hesitation.

The accommodation was as shown in the pictures. Super long to explore Bacalar. The private dock is great. Almost always we had this to ourselves. At any time we were able to rent a kayak and Angel and Peter's dogs are great plus. Everything was very clean and tidy. We would come back back.

Everything was great. The suite matched the description. Right across from a lovely and peaceful beach. Beautiful view. It was nice being just south of town, to avoid all the cruise ship travellers, but still an easy 10 minute walk to shops. Kitchen was well stocked. I would also agree with previous comments and reviews. Don’t go for the pool, but for the view, access to beach and great location. We would come back!

We had an amazing stay at this lovely condo. The view was amazing and the condo was beautifully appointed. We were family of 4 adults and this has been our favourite place on our trip. Rosaria and Daniel were amazing managers and were very responsive . The location was perfect,the pool amazing and great accessibility to restaurants and of course the reef. We would stay here again. Thanks for a peaceful and extraordinary stay.

The place has an excellent location, everything is accessible, as well as the place has all the essentials for excellent days of rest, I really liked it! The only bad thing is that we struggled a little for the internet connection and the nexflix I never work, but from there everything is super good and Juelita very accessible, we had a chance to leave a little later than established

Stunning place right by the Bacalar lagoon, perfect small infinity pool to gaze at the lagoon, own deck with kayaks, large terrace with comfy outdoor furniture and hammocks, a large dining table and a charcoal grill. We had a blast staying a few days at that place. Host was friendly and responsive. Everything went well.

We just LOVED this house. It was the perfect place for our big family gathering. Plenty of everything we needed - seating for dinner, plates & glasses, pool/lagoon towels, bathrooms and beds. The lagoon and pool access was fantastic. We loved the kayaks and outdoor tables for eating. Shade if you wanted it, sun if you wanted it. Bottled water and ice from filtered water was always available. The best vacation.

Nani’s place is amazing! It has everything you need and the location is unbeatable. Not the ideal place for privacy as there is no walls separating bedrooms. Would love to come back with my children.

Super nice quiet location with the ocean almost to yourself. Caretakers live closeby and can help with anything that comes up.

We really liked the silence and tranquility of the place without removing the sounds around nature incredible . Opening and closing all the bars may not be so practical but we understand the issue of the safety of things. Very nice place to spend many days kayaking and resting.

I love Bacalar and Mario’s place was divine…. Outdoor kitchen was where we all stayed. Beds super comfortable. Tons of space for people to spread out. Felt very safe letting our kids walk to town. ❤️❤️

10/10 Everything has been amazing. The house is super new and very well cared for. Also, Lupita and Alfredo treated us too well. Would repeat 100%

Absolutely amazing airbnb with everything you could ever need! Perfect place to escape into the beautiful city of mahahual. Our host was beyond amazing and made sure they took care of our every need. There is no need to look for any other airbnb, this is the one stop shop. We are coming back for sure.

Amazing studio with a nice and private balcony, with a great location on the beach! Very convenient if you are planning to enjoy the beach everyday!! Definitely recommendable.

Teresa was a wonderful host, very responsive even though she had to travel while we were there with a staff on site that checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. Amenities like free bottled water and a fully stocked kitchen we're appreciated so we could cook at home and utilize the beautiful private space - we (2 adults and 2 active young children) felt safe and we're treated like family.

Great view, just like in the picture. Directly above the sandy beach. Coffee shop at the ground floor. Excellent restaurant next on the right. More restaurants in short walking distance. Far enough from the port where cruises stop, so the area does not get overrun by crowds. Good snorkeling if you reach the reef near either side of the boat entrance to the lagoon. Shallow waters when entering from the beach, good for swimming or playing. Well furnished and equipped appartment. Nice living area with a view. Two bedrooms, each with private bathroom. AC working well if you need it. Self check is possible. Easy communications with the host. We had a perfect vacation in this place.

Communication was very efficient. The room is very comfortable, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The view overlooks the mangrove and the size of the forest looks stunning. The space feels a bit locked up, especially the bathroom as no windows can be opened by the mosquitoes. We recommend install mosquito nets to not necessarily use the AC (being the small room, it gave very direct air).
