Ruth's place was the perfect spot for our weekend away. Great location, easy access to the A1, pub next door and several walks on the doorstep. The annexe is very well equipped and Ruth has thought of all the extras that make the stay a real home from home and great if you've forgotten to bring anything. The private garden is lovely, even in January and a wonderful spot to watch the birds come and go. Ruth's breakfast supplies are generous and we loved how she checked in with us beforehand to find out our preferences. A fabulous find!

We had a lovely stay at Amber's - the cottage is cosy, well furnished and very comfortable. We ate ay great local pubs and enjoyed a spa in Stamford and a walk around Burgley House and Gardens. There was a small issue which was dealt with very quickly by our hosts and we were very impressed with the speed and the response. Overall a fabulous weekend which we would recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. Kathryn was a great host, facilitating a very comfortable stay. Kathryn's communication from booking through to checking out was hugely appreciated. The cottage was idyllically situated with a very restful outlook. It was lovely to be able to sit outside, with a choice of the orchard or overlooking the paddock. The kitchen was probably the best equipped in a holiday home that we have ever experienced. The whole place was spotlessly clean & and the beds were very comfortable. The huge bath towels were luxuriously fluffy ! We could easily return & spend a week visiting even more attractions in the area & exploring the countryside.

A beautiful, clean and spacious house which was perfect for our 2 night stay with 4 adults and our 4 and 8 year old. Plenty of comfortable rooms for people to have their own space, and a lovely dining and living room areas to get together in. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need, plus nice extras from the helpful owner. The location is great for a base to see the area. We all really enjoyed our stay and hope to come again in the future.
