Waterfront vacation rentals in Ohio

A historic place that was clean and within walking distance of so many places to visit. Our host was very responsive and so easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay! Tony was responsive and the apartment was even nicer than the photos. I felt safe and comfortable. I appreciated the quick response when I needed to extend my stay, the dedicated parking spot, and how welcome I felt bringing my cat. Lori is a gem of a housekeeper and was so nice every time we spoke. I would stay here again!

I am beyond grateful to have found Deni’s space for my twice-yearly writing retreats. As a return guest, and someone who had the pleasure of meeting Deni and getting to talk with her a little bit, I cannot recommend this listing and host enough. The unit is clean, cozy, peaceful, and has a perfect creative vibe. Deni is responsive and thoughtful, checking in on the app just the right amount and making sure guests are aware of important details like weather or road conditions that might impact their stay. I’m already looking forward to the next time I can get away for a stay at Water’s Edge!

What was originally a "had to find a place for the night close to where we had to be" kind of situation turned into a very enjoyable stay, great place, great communication, good beds, lots of space and great surroundings even though it was very cold that day. Outside: inside was just right :) We even got to see a young eagle perched right outside our windows, thanks to Di who texted us to have a look! Very enjoyable stay, thanks a lot!

Good AirBnb for a single person to visit if you are looking to stay near downtown or near one of the neighborhoods in the area (Detroit Shoreway, Ohio City, Edgewater). Ample on street parking. Very walkable to local restaurants and bars. Easy access to the shoreway to get to downtown or Lakewood. The unit was the perfect size as the bedroom, living room, and kitchen were an all in one with the bathroom within a few short steps. I will definitely consider a repeat visit and will recommend this AirBnb to my traveling friends.

It’s always a pleasure to stay with Traci! She always is so sweet, and everytime I wanna come down I always look for her places. So peaceful, so quiet, and it’s just all around a good time over there. I 100% recommend!

Clean, lovely 2 bedroom apartment. Edward was very communicative and flexible when we didn’t realize the checkout was at 10 am. Would stay there again!

Visiting family in the area and needed a place to sleep but didn’t spend much time there. Nice, quiet place. Well light. Third time to stay at a property of Michael’s. He is quick to respond to questions. Clean and comfortable furniture. Well maintained. We will stay again at a property he owns if available.

This is my second time staying at Adam and Alicia’s place. I said it before and I’ll say it again this feels like home away from home and it’s not far from my daughter and her family. We were here for the Christmas holiday and I enjoyed my stay. This home has everything I need and looking out and seeing beautiful lake Erie, along with the deer roaming in the backyard with Lake Erie in the background is always a bonus. I highly recommend their place and I am sure we will be back again in the new year.

Stayed at Kari’s place for the weekend and had a wonderful time with my family. I definitely would book with her again! She was very proactive with instructions and flexible with check in/out times. The house was super clean and the view from the back porch was beautiful! We also had great weather and were able to use the kayaks that were available. Made some great memories.

It was interesting to stay in an Airbnb with so much history. We appreciated the amazing view of the Muskingum River and downtown Marietta. The home is spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area.

Brooke’s place was fantastic!! My family loved it - we felt right at home and very relaxed. The location and screened in front porch was the best. Everything was simple clean and comfortable and Brooke is very responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

Clint’s place was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. The surrounding area was very peaceful and quiet and the place itself was cozy and welcoming. Clint was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed.

The place was beautiful and loved the view it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay it’s also a beautiful small romantic place for you and your spouse As well. We came here for sweeties day and Halloweekend (cedar point)and we really enjoyed our selves.

We have stayed at the loft twice now. We love the close distance to Cedar Point and the peaceful setting and beautiful views. It had everything we needed to be comfortable on our trip.

loved the open floor plan with lots of space, beautiful kitchen,great spa tub and Jetstream shower and my fave sitting in the reading chair looking at the beautiful view..very peaceful.....Michael was a super host, very friendly and responsive, felt like he did his best to make sure we got what we needed.

The condo was great! Kids loved it and had a blast with the theater and Mario theme rooms and games. Chris & Jamie went above and beyond with welcome treats, a Christmas tree and gifts for kids! We will be back!

Place wad beautiful everything was as described. House had everything that you need! Very quiet & peaceful. Will be back in the summer so we can enjoy the deck. Great restaurants/bars close by, even had fried crab legs for the 1st time. Looking forward to going back

Wonderful place to stay. Very close to the jet express & just a few minutes from grocery & restaurants. Lovely views from balcony of the lake & the docks. 20-30 min drive from Cedar Point & Kelley’s Island ferry. Such a nice place & plan to return again. All amenities were well thought out. Even a hair dyer which I was grateful because I forgot mine.

We came for a Tuesday-Thursday girls trip for 6 of us. The instructions were clear and Paul consistently communicated with us. It was easy to get in and get settled. We loved having a view of the lake from both balconies. The entire unit was clean and we had plenty of room for all of us. We easily rented a golf cart and were off to explore the island. It was a great location for our trip!
