Pedro is a remarkable host in many ways. He is proactive, responsive and very pleasant. He perfectly thought of the “guest” experience with a dedicated site with all the useful information. The house is located in a quiet area. It is tastefully decorated, very well equipped and the rooftop terrace is a big plus. Everything is made for a great stay. If you want to experience the peace and quiet of the Alentejo, this is the perfect place. It is set in the countryside among small farms. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, and nicely decorated. There is lots of beautiful outdoor space, with a large patio, hammock, and a private swimming pool. We were visiting during a cold spell, so couldn’t enjoy those things, but electric heaters in the living area and bedroom kept things nice and cozy. The kitchen is small, but between the cooktop, microwave, and air fryer, it is possible to cook a nice meal, and there is a large barbecue outside for grilling. The location is ideal for exploring Evora. It is less than 10 minutes away by car, and there are taxis, Uber, and local bus service. In addition, there are hiking trails around the area, including the trail that follows the aqueduct all the way into the city. Vanessa and Paulo were very welcoming and went out of their way to make every detail perfect. I would highly recommend.
