This is a stunning place, beautifully decorated, with so many hidden gems around the garden, the house and the surrounding landscape. We’d definitely be back.

Our family of five had the pleasure of staying at Shearer's Cottage for 5 nights over Christmas. Communication with Ryan was excellent from booking to checking out. The cottage was clean and cosy, and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the fenced-in yard for our dog, the comfortable beds, the coffee machine for our morning coffees, and the wifi / smart tv for movie nights. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the bathroom was clean and provided lovely hot showers. We recommend Shearer's Cottage if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful break, away from the busy-ness of city life. The place is very private and has beautiful views of the countryside. We had fun exploring the farm and the nearby forest, enjoyed a campfire on a cool evening, gazed at the brilliant stars in the clear night sky, and visited Mayfield Gardens at Oberon. We advise BYO board and card games for fun family game nights while you are here.

My son and I stayed for 2 nights in January 2025. The place was perfect for our needs. Quiet residence, off street parking, air conditioned and a very short drive to everything you would want. David the host even messaged and asked what type of cereal and milk etc we would like so that was very thoughtful. Would stay here again and recommend it highly.
