Farmstay vacation rentals in Northern Finland

We stayed 4 nights at Kati's place. We really loved her home. It's spacious and has everything you need to be well there. Also, the outside is beautiful as well as its 2 horses and his dog who is very nice. Kati is great: welcoming, very kind and available. Really, I recommend +++! There is plenty to do around Kati's: hikes ( we did Korouoma and Auttikongas), sled dogs/ice fishing 15 minutes away: NordicDreams . If you want to have a good time: go to Kati's! Thanks!

We came to Powerpark for a summer vacation with two families. The stay was selected for this home-like comfortable home for three nights. The home has plenty of room for two families (4 adults, 4 children). The accommodation has both clean towels and a cloth and other bedding. There was no need to carry your own. The kitchen has everything you need. The kids had a lot to do, and adults loved the countryside. Accommodation with football goals and balls, trampoline, molkky, etc. A well-stocked playhouse for the little one in the family. Only 12min drive to the store and 15min to powerpark. We found everything we needed and the vacation went very comfortably. Next time we will book accommodation if possible for the whole week. So much for everyone to enjoy the trip. Highly recommend. Jorma incredibly kind from when the booking was made. He confirmed in advance my arrival, and waited at the train station to pick me up. It is a bit of a drive to the place but I booked this listing on purpose as I wanted a taste of the Finnish Lapland without the hustle and bustle of a busier, touristy town. However, Jorma is more than happy to take me to Santa Claus Village or any other attractions if I wished. He also confirmed my dietary requirements, because you will never be left hungry. Jorma is an excellent cook, and every meal was a delight from fish he caught, bread he baked, and reindeer he cured! It was a pleasure to experience everything the area has to offer. Jorma took me cross-country skiing, trail walking up to a beautiful lookout to make coffee and grill sausages over the fire, and walks into the spruce forest around the house. It was a wholesome and lovely stay. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to experience the Lapland in a homely and authentic way!

We had a wonderful holiday in the peace of the countryside, in an atmospheric house. Very hospitable host support, the wish for a stool came true! Maybe we'll come back in the summer:)

Wow! Such at beautiful place, away from the city! I really like Cabins in a remote areas! The Cabin was clean, pretty on the in and outside, the vibe inside gives you that camping feeling! Perfect for such an affordable price!

My son and I had the most amazing stay at Miika and Merri’s villa. The villa is clean and warm, the kitchen is easy to use and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy. The sauna has the it’s beautiful view I’ve ever seen from a sauna. Miika is a wonderful host who gave us a very warm welcome and walked us through the villa on arrival. The highlight for us was the home cooked meal delivered to us at the agreed time, and the snow mobiles. We had the whole lake and nature trail to ourselves to explore. For the whole day. Probably the best activity we did in Lapland, something we will never forget. This is a magical place and I hope to come back one day. 10 stars!

Place was spacious and clean. Nice peaceful location in the country. Plenty of space for our entire group.

This cottage was so nice, we would have loved to stay longer. Bathing barrell was nice extra and we saw some stars. The location is not so idyllic, but inside the cottage was really great and sauna was very cute too so it was not an issue. Still nice place to stay. We might come back one day!

An idyllic stay in the countryside. I'm sure the dogs had some wonders. Plenty of space and cozy decor all the way from December, which was a nice addition when traveling with kids on Christmas holidays. I would have loved to stay here longer. Definitely keep the place in mind if we move around the area.

Thankyou miika! For everything, we enjoyed it so much & miss it already. The lake and scenery was beautiful, the snow, the trees and the place its self was amazing! I’ve fishing was a highlight is the trip and the snow mobile was so fun!

We loved our stay at Johanna’s place. We both agreed that if our schedule had allowed, we would have loved to spend more time there. The surrounding area is serene and peaceful. Inside is clean, warm, and homey. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.
