Cottage vacation rentals in Northern Finland

Very nice and cozy accommodation that exceeded all expectations. Johan was helpful and accommodating. We had some great days in Kronoby!

Very quiet location, in the middle of the national park. If you want to enjoy some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. The pool gets warm quickly even in winter and offers the opportunity to relax. Several reindeer farms nearby where you can pet the reindeer. The nearest supermarket is 1h by car.

The cabin was so nice! It was really clean, spacious, had lots of board games, and provided for a really fun holiday. The walk to the slopes was pretty quick (around 10 minutes) and the sauna was amazing for after a long day on the slopes. Also the loft is really cute and cozy! Definitely would recommend this cabin to my friends and family. And if I come back to ski some more, I’d definitely try to book this cabin again!

Charming little cottage by the river. The sauna had good steam and the cottage had excellent equipment. Suitably quiet location and beautiful river scenery. We didn't have time to try the hot tubs and hot tubs, but that would have been possible too. The place is a real sauna enthusiast's dream!

Thank you very much, it was a real pleasure to stay in this house by the water. We had a perfect stay and much appreciated returning to a very hot house and with the sauna and jacuzzi after activities in the cold. The calm and beauty of the view was also perfect. The cherry on the cake was seeing the aurora in the backyard of the house several times. Thank you for the helpful instructions and sufficient amenities for our family of 9. Comfortable and cozy little house. The animals in the yard are lovely and the farm hostess very friendly Also😊 near the Veteli swimming pool if laziness strikes and can't warm the yard sauna:) This is where I come again if I need housing nearby!

We are driving with 6 girls in Ritva's cabin and we had the time of our life everything was perfect. Ritva was always super accessible and gave us beautiful tips to explore the area. Even when we had a problem with our rental car, she helped to find a garage. This place was a 10 out of 10 when we arrived everything was totally cozily lit and chubby warm. If we go to Lapland again, we'll go back to this cabin. Thank you very much Ritva for everything. You're great ❤️

Our stay at this Airbnb was really an absolute dream that it will be so beautiful, we actually didn't expect! The cabin was incredibly lovingly equipped with small notes, so you were well informed about everything necessary. In addition, it was very clean and there was everything you needed at your disposal (towels, bathrobes, bathing shoes, sauna infusion...). Lea is a great landlady, she even organized ice skates from acquaintances on request so that we can fully experience Finland. The communication with her was really great, due to our late flight, she accommodated us at check-out on her own and offered to stay at the Airbnb for a few more hours. Check-in was also completely uncomplicated with a key box.

Everything was perfect!

The cabin is really nice and comfortable in a quiet environment. A perfect place to relax after a long day of skiing. We also enjoyed the wood sauna, which was really nice. Teemu is a very helpful and friendly host, and responded quickly to all questions. All in all, excellent stay for our family.

We had a really pleasant stay at Sannas place. We visited Ruka last year and stayed at Sannas place too. And it felt like home when we entered the apartment. It’s very cozy and everything you need is there and it’s just the most beautiful place in Ruka. The neighbourhood is really quiet and so beautiful. This year we stayed with four people in the little apartment and it was really comfortable. All of us loved it here and the biggest plus is the coziness and the short way to the slopes. And we were lucky enough to see the northern lights on several days while we stayed in Ruka, we could see them from our bedroom and the parking lot. Thank you so much for having us again, Sanna, we can’t wait to visit your place and Ruka and Finland again in the future. Thank you so much!!!!

Very clean and peaceful place. Renovated inside. Comfortably warm and easy to tidy up after yourself when there was no clutter. We'd love to visit for a longer time in the summer.

We spent a family Christmas in a clean and cozy cottage that was in a beautiful and peaceful location within convenient distance of Koli's services. The beach sauna for an additional fee was definitely worth the price. Check-in was easy and we felt welcome, Helena had even left us a tree with decorations and a Christmas chocolate!

The best place you can find in Oulu

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

Great place, only the outdoor sauna is missing

Perfect stay after a 3500 km journey to the North Cape. Loved the sauna and the sweets.

We had a very nice one-night trip. Pirjo warmed us up on a frost day at the lakeside sauna, so after a long skiing trip, we got straight to the sauna in the atmospheric wood sauna. The place was cozy and peaceful, and Pirjo was a friendly host who was easy to work things out with.

Mauno’s place was idyllic. Just as the photos and description but even better in our opinion. The Mökki is directly by the lake with swimming from the jetty or the small beach. The Sauna was lovely, with a view of the lake. Beds were comfy, the kitchen has everything you need. We picked berries in the forest close by. Perfect for families. It’s been our children’s favourite holiday. Mauno and his wife made us feel very welcome when we arrived and really respect your privacy. We would love to come back one day.
