Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for the first time over new years. Richard and Barbara were lovely hosts, very interesting, very helpful, and very chilled. We felt right at home. We had drinks in the bar with them and a few of their friends on New Year’s Eve and had a lovely evening. The breakfast was spot on and the walks from the location were absolutely lovely. We couldn’t have had a better time and have been raving about it the last few days! Highly recommend. We will definitely be returning!

Stella and Peter were as good a host as we could ever have wished for. By the time we left, they felt like family members! Genuinely lovely people that I couldn’t recommend enough. House was lovely and clean too, and with the safe, private parking, Stella and Peter’s offering should be a case study for how to do AirB&B. If we ever need another stay over in the area, we won’t hesitate to visit them again.

Maxine's place was exactly as described and perfect for our needs for one night in Scarborough. Chose this accommodation as we were attending a music concert and it was in walking distance of the Scarborough open air theatre where the band were playing. Great location for anyone wanting an overnight stay after a concert.

Very pleasant host, willing to help. Some negotiation about our dogs, which was resolved. We particularly liked having our own access door to the annex room. The room had everything required and a very comfy bed.

Victoria is a friendly and helpful host, well informed and deeply involved in Yorkshire events and history. Her house is comfortable and the loft room is particularly nice and roomy with a view of the surrounding hills in her little side-valley. Slaithwaite is a surprisingly well-serviced village with a busy high street, several nice restaurants, pubs and shops -- and an interesting industrial history, with its place on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, its old woolen industry factories and its proximity to Huddersfield. Victoria's place is a great base for exploring this part of Yorkshire (OK, West Yorks - but it's all Yorkshire, really), the local Pennine moors and even over the border into (what used to be) Lancashire!

Absolutely wonderful - incredibly thoughtful hosts which is reflected in the room with lots of thoughtful touches. Very comfortable and relaxing stay, would highly recommend as outstanding Airbnb choice!

My only disappointment is that I hadn't found this place sooner. We visit Hebden every year or so and this gas got to be one of our bedt stays yet. Flexible, easy to find, great, modern room and bathroom with lots of great little touches that demonstrates Mark doesn't take shortcuts. We'll definitely be back when we next visit. ps, great breakfast set up, with plenty of staff on hand to assist if needed. No cooked breakfast but plenty to choose from and hot tean and coffee on request 👍

It was a pleasure staying with Andrew, who is friendly and extremely interesting to talk to. A beautiful old bank, which he's tastefully and stylishly converted and has a peaceful ambience. The room was large and spotlessly clean, and my bed was super comfy. The coffee station was out of this world and I appreciated the delicious coffee he had freshly percolated every morning ☕ Andrew was always available and quick to respond. He was accommodating and helping, helping me with my heavy luggage, thank you for that Andy! It's a great base to stay in Halifax and I can absolutely recommend with 5 stars. I will definitely stay again when I'm back in UK. Bye for now, until we meet again!

Brian’s place is 5 minutes walk to the town.close to all the shops bars & restaurants. Brian makes you very welcome. Nothings to much trouble. I would definitely stay again.

A delightful stay. Maria is a wonderful and friendly host. The accommodation is perfectly presented, spacious rooms and great facilities. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was great. The room was lovely and quiet at night, I slept really well. Thank you, Maria.

Comfortable, spacious, enough privacy Jenny is very helpful The location is perfect with the bus stop, train station, restaurants, supermarket and gas station just a minute away. And a pleasant 30 minutes walk along the canal to the Hebden Bridge.

We had a lovely stay, everything was spotless and the room was really nice. Rachael left coal for us in the main room if we wanted a fire in the evening and was very welcoming at breakfast. Breakfast was lovely and everything was as described. Would definitely visit again!

Our room was beautiful, lovely and clean and the area is very peaceful.

Due to poor weather we decided to look for a local B&B in Barnoldswick to stop over instead of travelling home late at night. We were really pleased with Alma Cliffe Guest House and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely one night stay, peaceful location, large room, super comfy bed and ensuite bathroom. Richard was the perfect host, polite and helpful. Great continental breakfast in the morning to start our day. Highly recommend!

We stayed here two nights & felt very rested; Deborah was a lovely natural host, making feel at home, including giving us a mixed continental breakfast. All facilities were ideal for a comfortable stay & there was a kindness & generosity to everything, including unlimited wood for the stove, TV in our room as well as in a spacious lounge. Considering we were sharing Deborah's home we had a good amount of privacy & independence.

Amazing mattress I didn't want to get up and go work. Amazing host. Not everyday youve got Sky Tv in an Airbnb. Amazing stay as a football fan I was able to watch my football games. Clean room clean bathroom clean kitchen. Special cutleries for the guest. Always available to help in anyway. If im in York again id definitely would love to stay over.
