The serenity of the place and the host's responsiveness made it a memorable stay. The view and the silence are tough to beat. Mr. Joseph is very friendly and responsive. We would also recommend a houseboat tour in Kadamakudy.

We had the pleasure of staying with Deepu and his family whilst on our visit to kerala. From the minute we arrived Deepu and Christine made us feel so welcome and helped us so much . "The apartment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. "Communication was seamless with the family . They invited us to meet friends and even go away to visit them on a trip we never would have experienced. I cannot put into words how special Deepu and Christine made our visit , Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and traditional I will certainly return. Thank you Deepu to you and your family and friends. I feel we arrived as guests but left as good friends . Highly recommend a visit to stay . A truly special experience made better by Deepu and his family whims on.

What a special and beautiful place… we were only there for 2 nights and just wished we’d been staying for longer! We were met by Mathew and his wife, who look after the property, and despite our late arrival time (after 10pm) due to our flight, they were warm and welcoming. The temperature is pretty hot at this time of year (feb) but our rooms had air conditioning and ceiling fans and felt like a cool sanctuary to retreat to. The house itself is beautiful.. traditional ornately carved dark wood features and furniture.. so elegant, clean and comfortable. Authentic Kerala style. We didn’t have time to use the pool but it looked lovely and well maintained. We were made a beautiful breakfast each morning, had a lovely chat with Mathew and his wife and given helpful local recommendations. Highly recommend staying here - if I ever come back to Kochi I will definitely be returning! Thank you.

It is an extremely serene and calm place. It was perfect for our family getaway and apt for our occasion. 2 caretakers helped us with everything and were very responsive whenever a need arose. It was a great space.

Beautiful 1950’s villa with a team of house staff led by Mr Cherian, who took care of everything including delivering amazing food from the sister hotel Eighth Bastion. Sumptuous breakfasts were provided at the hotel, or we could make our own with the provisions supplied (even our fussy 6 year old enjoyed the cornflakes and banana cake). Had a wonderful staycation, with daily music lessons at the Kerala Kathakali centre.

Had a great stay while transiting through kochi at this bnb, the house is beautiful and has amazing vibe!! Must visit. just a little feedback since we were visiting from Canada and use airbnb.ca with no previous experience in India. One thing we noticed was direct messaging on number through host which didn’t sit well initially cz that’s private info, and when we asked for troubleshooting some issue during the stay it was great that the host came right away but didn’t leave once issue was fixed, felt weird being in the space with someone around. I think it was not malicious intent but just something to improve on privacy!

It was a wonderful stay at Neil’s. Check in was so easy compared to other self check in places. Guidance by the host to find the place was really good and it didn’t create any need to be in constant communication with the host. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures, near and tidy. Overall it was a nice experience staying. Will definitely choose to stay at the property in the future as well.

Jacob's inn was a great place to unwind with my friends. I loved how peaceful and tranquil the environment was but at the same time being at the heart of the city. Anisha was a professional host who responded to all my queries immediately and consistently checked to ensure that we were comfortable. The rooms were very spacious, bright and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Location is ideal and well connected. I would highly recommend this property and would love to revisit. Home away from home I booked this place for my parents and both the hosts supported me as a family. At no point of time I realised how my parents will manage. From recommendations to bookings of nearby sight seeings everything was guided by Krishna Uncle and for the breakfast they invited at their home and early morning served them pure vegetarian lovely meal. Uncle is so proactive and kind to help you out any time and in any way. Ongoing festival darshan at Ettumanoor Mahadev temple was wholesome and ritual experience, morning kayaking was adventurous one. Whenever I felt anything he is just a call away and everytime it feels like I'm talking to my Uncle, my parents are going to other home. Super thankful for your support and beautiful connection. A must go to place with serene beauty, peace and pampering hosts.
