Monthly Rentals in North Branch

The owners did a good job giving the exact description of the property. The house was a little more than we needed but still provided everything we needed. The HotTub was a great amenity, the weather we had was snowy and cold but we still got the most of the Hot Tub and its great location from the house. The house was comfortable and made you feel right at home. Plenty of space for a family. The surrounding area is remote with very few houses around you.

We spent a few days at Jessi's renovated barn over New Years Eve. The barn is one of the most special places we had ever stayed. With the holiday decorations still up, it made the celebration even that much better. The views from the deck of the surrounding mountains with sunsets are incredible and we saw lots of wildlife including daily eagle sightings, deer and a large flock of turkeys (turns out Callicoon means turkey). The barn is so beautifully decorated and we kept noticing new things around the barn that sparked our interest. It is also well stocked with whatever you may need and more. It snowed most days we were there and it was perfect watching the snow fall while sitting by the fire. Roads were cleared and we made it into the Callicoon Brewery for lunch. Jessi & Kate were very responsive to all questions we had. We definitely want to come back to experience the property in the warmer weather, too! So sad to have had to leave!

It's been a pure delight staying in James's super sweet and cozy apartment. James has paid attention to details that are very often overlooked by other hosts, making comfort for his guests a priority. I felt instantly at home and James is super responsive and kind and cares about his guests, and their well-being, taking care of any issues that may arise immediately. The apartment is lovely and on a quiet street, with the best neighbors and a very peaceful serene place to stay. The bed is very comfortable and a fully appointed kitchen awaits. You have everything within walking distance, including restaurants, supermarket, wonderful art museum, gas station around the corner, beauty salons, a library, and more! Livingston Manor is a charming town nestled in the Catskills and surrounded in every direction by stunning natural scenery and access to lakes, fishing, nature walks, hiking, and more incredible towns! You will thoroughly enjoy your stay in James's place and exploring the area!
