Kiln Cottage Idyllic relaxation

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Kiln Cottage is a beautiful place to stay and Rebecca is a perfect host. She has thought of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, including a guidebook with brilliant recommendations for local food and drink. Our children were delighted to discover the books and toys she’d thoughtfully left out in their room and we all loved the warmth, comfort, space and tranquility of the cottage. Rebecca seems to really think about the guests she’s hosting and that feels like a very special thing. As well as all the extra touches, the cottage is extremely well equipped and cooking there was easy and enjoyable. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Cool and Cosy Cottage in North Creake

HonorRating, 5 stars2 months ago
After a rocky start at another property which was entirely unsuitable we found Georgie’s home nearby and it was perfect! We were so lucky it was available and Georgie was so accommodating at the last minute. It really felt like we were staying at a friends house and we felt immediately at home the moment we walked in the door. It was clean, welcoming and you could tell it was a loved and happy home. Staying at Georgie’s house made our Christmas so special and relaxing. It was like a home away from home; full of love and warmth in the decor and atmosphere. Great to be so close to the coast and great amenities yet in a very quiet and peaceful environment. We were sad to leave and will definitely always consider it as a go to place when visiting north Norfolk.

Marsh Gate House, Thornham

JackRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a fantastic time at Marsh Gate House! The property was clean, spacious and in a great location. The photos on the listing don't do the house justice. It was bigger than we expected and really well equipped. Great kitchen with everything you need, including two fridges. We'd 100% stay at Alexa's house again. We loved it!

Idyllic riverside house and gardens

AlexRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an absolutely fantastic time at this house. It was a perfect venue for a dual family Christmas post engagement. We needed a venue that could feel like a home with 10 people in it, and we got exactly what we needed. Our host was charming, proactive and helpful. The place was exactly as described with a few unexpected benefits (like the lovely coffee shop over the road), and definitely one we’d return to.

Bonneys Barn Retreat - Luxury homely getaway

BeckyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
3 old girls friends staying at Shaun's place for a couple of nights to unwind & catch up. Arrival instructions were clear & accommodation was easy to find, enjoyed having a little explore before settling into our rooms. Beds & rooms were very comfortable, house was warm & cosy & had everything we needed to prepare a meal. The loft room is a accessed by a spiral staircase & a little flexibility is required if using this room! But the sunrise in the morning from there is incredible & the space itself great if you like quirky! The hot tub is lovely & warm with great views across the fields of deer, grouse, horse & hares. The tub itself has no seats as such & no steps to climb in - as a note for those considering mobility - & will comfortably seat 2 - 3 people. We ordered food for the second night, several options from Just Eat; the pub up the road is nice for a drink too. Lowestoft beach is 30 mins away. Shaun's Comms were quick & helpful, thanks so much, will definitely be returning!

Stunning seafront property with garden and drive

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's place! The home was in a great location right by the seafront, with just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It was very clean, very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was easy with Laura and she was responsive to messages. We will look to book here again if we return to Cromer in the future!

I cannot thank the hosts enough for their hospitality. Questions were answered promptly, they were flexible , all you had to do was ask. The place was pristine and very well kept and I can't fault it in any way. If I am in the local area I wouldn't hesitate getting their accommodation again. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Luxury tent at Moat Island Glamping Natural pool

KateRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

The Directors shed

TimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely stay in a pretty quirky space but fitted out lovely with a gorgeous log burner and big, well equipped kitchen. The sound system and projector was a great touch, as was the impressive dvd collection. Really good place for a weekend stay in north Norfolk. The pub is a real bonus too, really friendly stuff and a good range of beers on draught. Will be back again.

Mini Cabin w/ Wood Fired Hot Tub

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Exactly as described. Very peaceful and not over crowded site. Hottub was on and ready to use the moment we arrived. The cabin was very clean and well presented. On site food and drink was perfect and very well presented. The staff were very pleasant and you couldnt ask for a better service. Felt very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Honestly could not recommend wildflower meadow cabins and fendicks fishery enough. Will be 100% revisiting this site in the future.

Showman's Wagon in Cottage Garden

TomislavRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A great place to stay- it's a beautifully renovated yet wonderfully original wagon, that's comfortable and well appointed for any retreat. We really enjoyed the garden space to be amongst the fruits and vegetables and Bertie the horse! Wish we could've stayed longer! Overall just the tranquility we wanted. Thanks to Julia for being great and accommodating host.

Self-Catering Cabin

FranRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Immaculately clean and cosy glamping pod on a small camping field. I think in high season there could be a cafe/shop on site. A lovely touch on arrival was the bottle of wine and wonderful homemade brownies in the pod. The interior was tasteful, comfortable and well equipped. I liked the fact the pod had its own picnic table/bench outside ,especially as we did manage to sit there and soak up some rare sunshine in February. Although there are no gravel paths to the caravan pitches/pod it rained in the night whilst we were there but no wellies were needed. There is an good pub, "The Lord Nelson" ( he was born and spent his early years in Burnham Thorpe) .. serving excellent food about half a mile up the country road . We didn't walk it as the weather was a little inclement and the road is narrow and not well lit. However, in summer I would imagine it's a very pleasant walk. The area is lovely and not far from the coast , plenty to see and do

Debbie and her team were brilliantly helpful, we didn't know how long we were going to stay as we were visiting a friend at a nearby hospital, they were very flexible and kind. The lodge is very well laid out, with super comfy beds and a great shower. Was great to come back each night to such a peaceful location. Thank you x

LUXURY CABIN ON THE NORFOLK/CAMBS BORDER

AimyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The best place we have stayed at via Airbnb, Louise and Simon had thought of everything needed and myself and my partner were able to just relax at the romantic retreat without needing to go anywhere. We felt right at home, enjoyed the hot tub, the bed and sofa was comfy and the privacy of the place was just what we had hoped. Tasty welcome hamper provided too! The craftsmanship and finer details, even down to the slabs of the path leading up to the retreat, shows that this is a place that has been done properly. Returning in the Summer for a full week as a long weekend there wasn't quite enough. Nice to be away and relaxed in such a thoughtful environment. The photos on here are what initially drew us in, but they don't do it justice. The description is right too, not overlooked in any direction :)

The Miller’s Shed - Relaxing Suffolk Hideaway

HannahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a peaceful and restorative hideaway. It was perfect for a few quiet days away and there were such nice touches - snowdrops in vases and a thoughtful welcome gift. I felt very much at home and loved having the log burner on in the evenings (it was very easy to get underway and there was a generous supply of logs). Sam and Mark were great hosts and had shared lots of local recommendations in their guidebook - I enjoyed a blowy walk on Covehithe beach and Baron Bigod Brie! It’s a wonderfully cosy retreat and I happily spent time nature watching (muntjac deer, pheasants, moorhens and red kites amongst others), reading and relaxing. You can also star gaze courtesy of the telescope! Thank you for a lovely stay!
