Forestry Cottage. Hot tub, open fire, dog friendly

SharonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed due to celebrating my father's 75th birthday! On arrival we were surprised by a birthday cake, banner and balloons! The hot tub being the main purpose for selecting the house which was lovely; fortunately weather was kind so we used day and night! Earplugs may be required due to the squawking of the geese on the lake; but being surrounded by nature is what we love! I love to run and the location provides a lovely run/walks around the lake! You can hear some traffic nouse as road is busy! Overall would highly recommend this lovely bungalow.

Beautiful, Unique Georgian Coach House & Hot Tub

AimeeRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a lovely long weekend at Anna’s Coach House celebrating my mum’s 60th with my family. There was something for everyone including our 3 toddlers. Grounds were beautiful & the house smelt lovely & clean. Anna was very responsive & helpful during the lead up to the stay as well as during our stay. The only slight negative myself and my guests had was that upon booking we had expectations that some things would be included in the price as it was shown in the photographs (hot tub, extra fire wood, electric charger for example) but these were all at an additional costs that we were unknown about when originally booking. There were a few logs but didn’t last more than half an evening. Apart from this everything was lovely & we would recommend Anna’s Coach House.

Garden cottage is easy to find, and absolutely beautiful, situated in a peaceful rural setting. There is plenty of accessible parking & I was greeted by Jill immediately upon arrival. The cottage itself had everything I needed, was super clean & comfy, and I had a lovely few days there. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend.

Kestrel Barn

Jean-LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our host reached out to check in on our arrival, making sure we were settled and knew how to use the amenities, including the hot tub. There were five of us, and the space was perfect for both cooking and relaxing. We were also given great recommendations for the local beach and a good chippy, plus the beach itself was lovely and sandy. The property is about a 30-40 minute drive from the city center but is surrounded by smaller towns, perfect for supporting local business at the Christmas markets or seal watching. I'd definitely return—it's in a great location with a lovely host.

David was an outstanding host—responsive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Everything about our stay was flawless. The property itself is enchanting, with a serene and peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect getaway. The walking trails around the pumphouse were delightful, adding to the charm of the location. The kitchen was a dream for anyone serious about cooking; we prepared some complex meals with ease, thanks to the well-equipped facilities. Our group of 10 found the space more than comfortable—it was thoughtfully designed for gatherings of this size. For those who are looking for a country get away with friends or family this place is perfect. What a truly wonderful place. Thank you, David!

We booked a family break here for mum's 80th birthday and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful, spacious accomodation in the countryside - very peaceful and lovely surroundings. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Dog Cottage (North Norfolk)

LindseyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a lovely, cosy cottage. It was beautifully presented with fresh flowers, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome cake, Prosecco and milk were really thoughtful touches and gratefully received. Communication from our hosts was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dog Cottage and can’t wait to visit again.

Stylish dog-friendly rural haven–Hollow Hill Annex

GeoffRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This property is situated in a quiet rural position over looking fields, in a quiet narrow lane. The interior is nicely furnished with furniture from a bygone age but is tastefully done and perfectly functional, it is warm and cosy and has possibly the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever rented from Airbnb. Its clean and has comfortable beds, there is decent toilet paper, sharp knives in the kitchen and ice in the freezer which are high on our check list. Logs for the burner are also provided throughout your stay, something that others host could learn from, although we hardly used it as we were warm enough despite it being a chilly January week. Chris and Melissa are quick to respond, live on site and are very responsive to any issues and queries.

Albion Cottage, a Seaside Victorian Gem

NigelRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The cottage is well situated in the village, close to the church & quiet. Easy walking distance of the dog friendly beach, 2 mins from a dog friendly pub (excellent food & friendly staff) and a local general store. The cottage is well equipped, especially the kitchen (incl coffee makers & grinders). Natural cleaning products were provided throughout the property. The bathroom is very clean & roomy with modern double shower cubicle with rain & normal shower heads. Almost instant hot water whenever you need it. The cottage is packed with many interesting antiques, furniture & paintings. The two reception rooms both have TVs, a wood burner in the dining room & an open fire in the lounge. The double bedroom is large with plenty of storage. Parking is on the road outside but it’s quiet & easy to park. A nice welcome of scones, jam & clotted cream on arrival. Liz was very responsive. Initially the cottage was very cold but she quickly dealt with the heating issue. Definitely recommended.

What an amazing place Shepley House is! We had a great family time and enjoyed the place very much. The attention to details is lovely (hamper on arrival with card, dog towels, wood for the burner, everything you can think about and need in the kitchen!). The garden and woods are beautiful and the whole place has a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. We had few questions during our stay and the communication was quick and helpful. Thank you so much to the Shepley team, we made some great memories to cherish! We recommend this place with no hesitation!

Barn Conversion, 3 bedrooms, swimming pool

FionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My friends and I had such a lovely stay at Steve's barn conversion. The place was gorgeous, spacious and surrounded by beautiful views. I bought my cat Cherry with me, and Steve was very accommodating to this. The games room and pool were great. Unfortunately during our stay the pool heating wasn't working, but Steve informed us of this before we arrived, and we still managed to last an hour in the water! Thank you Steve! 🐱🌲

Spacious Medieval Barn in North Norfolk

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house was fabulous. Plenty of space for our families to spend time together but not be in each others faces. The entire place was perfect for us! Only downside (if you can even call it that!) was that the tv in the main lounge was not a smart TV and we only had access to free view! However there was a range of DVDs available, some of which didn’t work very well though! The hot tub was FANTASTIC!!! Well worth the price we paid for the visit.

Pippa and Steve gave us loads of recommendations for food, things to do and when we needed them they were so responsive! Excellent hosts! we can't wait to stay in teh summer when we bring our friends with us!! thanks so much for a wonderful weekend both of you!
