Sylvia was a perfect host, kind, helpful, responsive. (I'd like to thank her the permission to have our daughter for dinner in the apartment and providing an extra chair for her.) The apartment is very well equiped (eg we found everything in the kitchen we needed), nicely furnished and clean. The neighborhood is a quiet and nice suburban area. We enjoyed staying there. The only thing that we didn't liked is the cold in the evenings in the apartment (I mean 17-18 C) - the time-schedule for the night heating started early, and the apartment cooled quickly. If we turned the heating down for the day, it remained cold for the evening. Anyway, I think it is the difference between the Dutch and Hungarian attitude towards temperature and insulating houses - we felt all the museums were freezing cold...

the House Boat was perfect for a weekend away. Easy access to transport and a 15 minute walk from the nearest grocery store. The area is quiet (except for the occasional duck) and the rooms were pristine, plus the instructions on how to get there/access the accommodation were super easy to follow. I look forward to staying again!!

Typical Dutch accommodation, as described. Spacious enough, it allows easy access to the city center in just 30 minutes thanks to nearby transport. Karin was very responsive and understanding following a train problem. Our host was attentive and friendly. We can only recommend staying at Karin's! Thanks to her!

Had a lovely stay. Elisa was very helpful and friendly. Garden house was clean and perfect place to rest after a busy day exploring Amsterdam. 7-8k bike ride from city.
