I needed the mini getaway and the Fern cottage was just the perfect place. It was peaceful, clean and most of all it was pet friendly. So glad I booked it! We had a great time. Thank you Jennifer and Cliff for your hospitality and having us at your beautiful property.

Fantastic getaway. The place is wonderfully quirky and real thought and care has been put into making it feel more like staying at a friends place than your typical Airbnb. Endless little thoughtful touches and delights. Our little dogs enjoyed it with freedom to enjoy the yard. Best of all the low connectivity meant our teens had a blast with all the games, the bird life and had lots of non screen, old fashioned fun, as intended. We drove up Saxtons road to Downey track, parked at the gate and did the walk to the amazing waterfall. Stunning. We made great pizza - only needed to bring toppings. They aren’t stingy with supplies. Do read the instructions regarding 12v power and its limitations. It’s all explained well, and they have a bible with clear instructions for everything in the house. A wonderful retreat.

I was staying at Vicki's place with my family for 2 nights. This place has an amazing location, surrounded by nature. Beautiful terrace, where you can relax. Good fireplace which gonna keep you warm during the night. Only thing is that wasn't clean enough. This place needs just one good cleaning. floors were very dirty and dust everywhere. Other than than, everything fine and I would recommend Vicki's place for weekend getaway.

Had a wonderful stay! Everything as described . Great location to explore the surrounds. Close to the park which was perfect for the kids.
