Cabin vacation rentals in Mount Rogers

My family and the dogs had a great stay at Laras. The house looks exactly like the photos, the kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped and the spaces are spacious and comfortable. Big note is that the beds are in the top tier of any airbnb I've ever stayed in, even the bunk beds were very comfortable. The white noise machines in every room and the pack and play for infants saved us schlepping our gear up there. You can explore the acreage right off the back porch and there is lots of natural variation in elevation and environment depending on your taste. Lara was quick to respond and very helpful, she's a great host. tl;dr: great stay, worth the price, lots of little touches that make it great.

Misti went above and beyond as our host. My wife and I were celebrating her birthday, and the house was cozy and we loved the area. But what really made a difference was how helpful she was to locate my watch that my wife gave me for my birthday a few years ago. I thought I lost I forever, but with the help of Misti she found it !! all I can say is that made my day and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice home in Damascus.

We were in need of a getaway to escape the stress and reality of life. This was THE most relaxing, nature-filled, stress-free trip for us! We can’t wait to come back again.

We enjoyed our trip to Nick and Samantha’s secluded cabin. It was exactly what we needed. Nick and Samantha were some great of the most communicative hosts we have ever experienced. They were amazing. We’ll be back soon.

Cottage is very cute and well appointed. if you're a blanket person you're in luck. Candie had made sure there are tons and they're all very soft. The cottage was the perfect cozy getaway and is actually pretty convenient to Boone and surrounding areas.

I was able to have a wonderful birthday celebration with me three girlfriends. The cabin had beautiful views! The host was wonderful!

The Chicken Coop was exactly as described. I have never stayed at an Airbnb that had so many extra touches. We loved our stay and the rustic feel of the cabin. The Chicken Coop had a basket of snacks waiting for us and also treats for our dogs. We will definitely be back!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean and at a great distance from fun things to do in the area, like skiing at sugar mountain. We definitely hope to be back soon!

We had a great time at Buttermilk Acres. The place is beautiful and a lovely get away into nature. The showers were awesome and bathroom was close to the cabin so going outside wasn’t a bother at all (even at 8 months pregnant!)

This is one of the best places my friend group has stayed. Very comfortable space that offers something for everyone. Tom is a great host and very responsive. The place was really clean. Also great location for all mountain activities.

Loved the place. The house was super cute and very cozy. It slept all of us comfortably. The roads coming in and the steep drive way, you definitely need 4 wheel drive. But would definitely recommend this house. Thanks!

This place is absolutely stunning and incredibly peaceful. The view is nearly panoramic. As I came mostly to relax and photograph the area, I was thrilled with the ability to star gaze and take time lapses, or photograph the deer that were in the yard or driveway almost daily. The cabin is extremely well built. In high winds one night and below freezing temps, the cabin stayed warm and without any drafts. You have a functional studio apartment on the second floor with anything you could need. The interior is open and decorative, with lots of places to sit and relax. The internet is faster than listed (I had about 200mbps over speedtest) which is great as cell service is difficult. Att was able to make calls and texts on network, there was no T-mobile coverage. The hosts were extremely kind and always available if I had a question. Overall this is a perfect cabin in the highlands, on an incredible property, with a view you HAVE to see. I would move in tomorrow :)

Best Airbnb we’ve ever rented anywhere. The house is as promised, spotless, and well appointed. You will not run out of plates, glasses, or forks for once. I had a question, Trisha got right back to me. Only a few minutes to Beech skiing. Please be good to this house and these owners, they are sincere and dedicated and have a beautiful home. We’ll be back, it was so good to have this time with our (almost grown) kids!

Loved this cozy cabin! Easy walk to the ski resort, & coffee shop. Perfect size for our family of 3 adults and our fur baby. Cabin was super close to the ski resort and centrally located to every restaurant, coffee shop & store we had on our bucket list to visit in Beech Mountain. . The view & sound of the creek was an added bonus . The gated wrap around deck / porch was my fav part of the cabin. Check in was a breeze and hosts were super detailed with directions & instructions . Hosts had super clear communication and gave fantastic local recommendations. 10 out of 10 recommend & hoping to book again for next year’s trip!

Was the second time I had stayed at this property, and loved it once again! Crystal was very flexible and worked with me on extending the stay by one night because of snowy conditions. Such a great place and enjoyable stay!

first time in cabin and we love it , great location, beautiful views, cozy, nice neighbors, and the most important thing in this location is the fast action of the snow removal truck they hired for the neighborhood.

We went for the rustic cabin experience and were pleasantly surprised by a heated toilet seat. With the devastating hurricane prior to our stay, Patricia graciously offered us a no charge cancellation. We appreciated the offer and constant updates and communication.

This place was absolutely beautiful. I booked this place with the intention of providing my fiance and our friends a relaxing, beautiful, and peaceful vacation for his birthday and it was all of the above. Local areas are within 15-20 minute drives and full of amazing activities, restaurants, and sites to explore and see. We plan on making this a reoccurring place to stay at each year and maybe even each season for vacations. We really enjoyed everything about it. Neal was so responsive and helpful with all of our questions and made the stay easy and carefree! I recommend this for any small group who are looking for somewhere serene to stay while also having the option of several locations to enjoy a plethora of activities.
