Monthly Rentals in Motu Vavaratea

Guillaume has a fantastic fare right on the water. It is very private and with a lot of modern technology. He was very gracious with anything we needed. One of the best Airbnbs you could possibly want, on the best island in French Polynesia.

Sam and Toriki are wonderful hosts and this is a perfect place to stay for people who like to swim, snorkel or kayak and read or and chill in a perfect and simple place. It’ an unbelievably beautiful location and it’s for those who want to get back to nature. Provisioning in town is easy to do; so is going off the motu to Fare or Avea Bay for a lunch or dinner out if you have a rental car at their mainland pier, which I heartily recommend. It was hot in late December and there’s no AC but you just jump in the water to cool off. There are plenty of clean linens and towels. The bed was comfortable and the showers are great, inside and on the beach. Loved every moment of our stay.

We booked based on photos and reviews. Everyone says they wished they booked more time at the plantation house, so we booked 9 days. I don't think it matters how many days you book , you will still wish for more. It's a very rustic and basic cottage. The shower was hot. The bed was comfortable. Our host wasn't on the Motu during our time but made sure we were well taken care of by the sweetest lady down the beach named Candy. Such a peaceful , beautiful, relaxing place to vacation. You truly get the most authentic polynesian experience. We will absolutely be returning to this wonderful location.

We had an amazing stay with Alain and Jean-Luc! They were very friendly and helpful. Their house is beautiful and a great location to explore both parts of the island. Great English as well😁
