We had a brilliant stay at the shepherds hut! It was in an idyllic setting; with lots of walks, nearby towns and eateries. We loved the hot tub!

Great hosts! Little Idle has a lovely energy. The decor is tasteful and homely but not cluttered. It is very light and spacious, a great use of space with lots of windows and doors. The bed is extremely comfortable. It's very peaceful at night so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. There is ample storage for your things. Really effective under floor heating and wood burner. The shower has great pressure and the bath is comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and I loved the selection of teas available. There are some fun games and great literature provided. The internet was down but this wasn't a problem as there was good signal with 3 network. The hot tub was positioned in a perfect spot over looking the valley, it was really special. There is no light pollution so on a clear night you can see the milky way. Take a torch/lamp if planning to use the after sunset under the stars. Would LOVE to return again, I am feeling very relaxed after my stay, thank you!

We’ve just arrived home from a wonderful stay at the cottage. It has been beautifully renovated and is very well equipped with everything you could need. The surrounding gardens are stunning and very quiet, making for a very peaceful holiday. Don and Karen were so friendly and helpful with lots of tips about the local area, and always very quick to respond. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
