Jose and his family are gracious, welcoming, responsive hosts. Upon arrival, there were complimentary Snicker bars and water bottles, which made my long journey easier. The bed was soft and comfortable. My room was cosy, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen worked perfectly and looked cosy. The house is a short walk to bus stops (there are at least three bus stops around) -- the average time for me to go from the house to Manhattan was 45 minutes by a combo of walking and bus, which was convenient enough as the New Jersey - New York bus services ran frequently at all times from early morning to past midnight. Transportation advice: New York to New Jersey routes start from the Port Authority Bus Terminal: 168 Hackensack, 167Q (these two routes drop you off 5 mins from the house)(do not mistake 167Q for 167T!), or 165 (drops you off 20 mins from house). The neighbourhood is very safe and quiet. I recommend Jose's AirBnb to anyone visiting New York City or Newark

Staying here was truly an incredible Airbnb experience! I stayed for 3 months and felt so welcomed and at home the entire time. The hosts are not only incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating, but really went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Everything looked exactly like the pictures, the space was clean, and the surrounding neighborhood felt safe. I can’t thank them enough for making this my home away from home for so long! I would highly recommend them and their place to anyone looking!!

Place was comfortable and the neighborhood was peaceful and safe. Easy to walk for restaurants and public transportation to NY City. I recommend it
