It is a good place, peaceful, tranquil and safe. Internet works well, the AC too. Will book it again for sure.

We felt so lucky to with Joe and his dog Macho in Mal Pais. We loved the unit, super comfortable for 5 adults. The kitchen facilties worked well including fresh tuna from the fisherman at the end of the driveway. Joe's pizza is rockstar at the communal bar area next to the pool. The property was lush including many birds & monkies. We drove to nearby Santa Theresa for surfing and groceries and walked to "Secret" Beach for swimming and snorkeling. A small store, brew pub and pizza place are also in walking distance

Once you pass through the gates and out of the Santa Teresa traffic it is like you enter a different world. You have your own personal slice of Santa Teresa where you can enjoy yourself and be one with Nature. You are right on the beach and can listen to the waves crashing all night long. When you wake up the monkeys are snacking on the leaves of the trees above you. You will not be disappointed if you book this home. Pia is very responsive and the whole crew who help with maintaining this property are respectful and friendly. There are limited homes with beach access and your own property you don't have to share and this one stands out. We enjoyed our time here and if we come back to Santa Teresa we would 100% book again.

Lila’s place is amazing. Close to a great (and also not crowded) beach. This spot is perfect if you are searching for a Pura vida moment. Playa San Miguel was not super tourist-y when we were there so if you want a calm and relax stay: this is the place for you. This place is clean, functional and perfect if you have to work remote (internet was A1 for zoom or Teams meeting). Thanks Lila for this AMAZING few days 🙏

A beautiful place to stay. We had a little difficulty finding it, partially because a road had been washed out. We appreciated Shanti's quick response and her help getting us to the location. We had some technical difficulties and she worked hard to provide work arounds and get us the directions we needed. Thank you! A 4x4 is very helpful!! We loved the nature and beauty of the home and the area, a beautiful area surrounded by wonderful wildlife! Some bugs and lizards and an occasional mouse gets in the rooms and common area because nothing is sealed, but understandable for the location...definitely in nature! The view and sunsets are unbeatable. There were a few issues (a broken door that was difficult to close) which were addressed promptly after contacting Shanti. The only other issue was very loud music etc from the neighbor in the place next door on the property. Not much can be done about that in the middle of the night.

Exactly as pictured, location is good, 5 minute walk to the beach, 10-20min walk to some good restaurants, the host gave us some good recommendations for food and things to do. House was very clean the crew comes everyday to freshen up

Stunning home with exceptional views. For a family of 7, there was plenty of space and lots of choices for seating. I would highly recommend this home. The road was manageable with our SUV. We did not miss air conditioning with the lovely ocean breeze. We enjoyed the activities in the area such as Montezuma waterfalls and the beautiful beaches.

We booked Josette’s place day of and we’re extremely satisfied. Gigantic bed, beautiful bathroom, good kitchen, and minutes away from the beach. We walked to most restaurants and having three grocery store across the street was extremely convenient for nights in. 100% recommend!

The place is really great and very remote, which of course is great for the peace it gives but getting there is a bit difficult. We didn’t had a 4x4 but I would recommend it. But the place is so nice surround by nature and wildlife. We had monkeys, birds and iguanas visiting. The kids loved it. The pool is absolute gorgeous and we used it constantly. Thanks for the nice stay.

Nethi and Dana were amazing and very warm hosts. Super uncomplicated, selfless and not to mention to their will to help!!!!! I would recommend this place to anybody.

The house was by far one of the nicest homes I have ever booked on Airbnb. Location couldn’t be better, cleanliness and views UNMATCHED. However, the best part of this experience was our host, Judith. She gave us all the best local recommendations and made sure everything booked was ready and on time. We will be back next year! Santa Teresa and the locals are the best in Costa Rica. This is a MUST BOOK Airbnb. 100/10 stars

Very nice place! We enjoyed our time here. It’s great being right on the beach. Very relaxing! Bring bug spray…lots of mosquitos in the outdoor living area during our stay. Highly recommend.

You will not be disappointed!! We had a wonderful stay at Casa Grande at Casa de Soleil. Clean, spacious, well equipped and oh so stylish. Stunning, well maintained property. Soraya and her staff were very attentive and helpful. We hope to return someday.

Great spot! Up in the canopy of the rainforest with amazing ocean views. Tucked away south of Santa Teresa, this placed offered a great spot to relax and enjoy a more quiet experience, tucked away high up the hill. Less than a 10min ATV ride to main Santa Teresa, it was a perfect home base for the entire trip and all the local activities. House was just like the photos, with the views and experience even better! House was clean, kitchen well stocked, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful in organizing the entire trip from beginning to end! Costa Rica is a beautiful place and this house is a great spot to enjoy it!
