Monthly Rentals in Monchique

Carlos welcomed me at the gate to his charming house and garden / orchard. Gave me a very detailed introduction to the part of the house that I had booked. I felt right at home. The weather was not always dry during my stay, but I was happy in the house when it rained. Very comfortable. Carlos gave me good advice on places to visit. Highly recommend !

Amazing place to stay in the Algarve. If you’re not familiar with this area it’s a challenge to find a location that puts you in a place where coastal access is possible and the peace and quiet of Monchique is also available. An absolutely beautiful home with tons of character, views and space to spread out. We were here in the winter and used the living room fireplace a lot which was a nice treat. There’s a decent grocery store in Monchique but stocking up in a larger city beforehand is not a bad idea. Would recommend in a heartbeat and really hope we can come back.

Ruth's villa is highly recommended for a stay in the Algarve. We were there for 8 days and enjoyed the phenomenal view of the coast from the terrace in the morning and evening. Living and dining rooms are very spacious and good. The bedrooms were cozy, beds comfortable. We also liked using the pool. There are excellent restaurants in the area. It is 30 to 40 minutes to the coast. We were lucky with the weather and were able to take beautiful walks in Monchique and on the coast. And in the evening, enjoy the magnificent starry sky over the villa. The contact with Ruth was always pleasant and friendly. Thank you.
