Cottage vacation rentals in Moira Lake

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night break at Carol Ann’s cottage. From my initial enquiry to questions during our stay, Carol Ann was extremely responsive and super helpful. She popped by to check in and brought us a bin bag when we didn’t have one, we enjoyed chatting with her. The cottage is lovely, excellent amenities and extremely comfortable with lovely views of the lake. We made use of the paddle boat, kayak and SUP. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught small sunfish and bass. Madoc town is just 5 minutes away. It was an ideal spot for us to enjoy some family time, we would definitely stay again! Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

Our weekend winter getaway was enjoyed by all at this lovely cottage. As soon as we walked in the front door we knew we made the right choice. We went snowshoeing on the lake and even managed to shovel some deep snow off for skating. We also tried Ice fishing but that didn’t work out as the lake was too shallow no matter how far out we went. Hot tub was a bonus and the wood burning stove (wood included) made the place cozy. Host responded quickly to any questions we had. We definitely would recommend this place for a winter getaway.

I was looking for a quiet and cozy place to escape to for a few days in middle of the winter where I could sit by a fire, write and relax. Stephen’s cottage went beyond what is listed. The decor and details are part of the charm. The place is a gem from top to bottom. Clean, well stocked and updated with many thoughtful experiences from family games and videos that would make BlockBuster proud. Older generations would understand. Stephen was always very prompt answering any questions before my stay and while I was there. He is a gracious host and it shows with everything that he has thoughtful included in the rental of this amazing four season cottage. We look forward to our next visit.

Excellent cottage! Spent Thanksgiving weekend with family at Deb's place. The location is amazing on marble lake with great water views and all the amenities needed. We cooked, BBQd enjoyed the wood burning fire place, relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. The walking trails near the property are also gorgeous and we enjoyed some great hikes in near by Bon Echo PP. We definitely will be back to the Daisy cottage!

I had an amazing stay at Ke’s property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The place was spotlessly clean and tidy, and I immediately felt at home. The firepit was a wonderful touch, providing a cozy atmosphere for the evenings. As a parent, I was especially pleased that my 1-year-old baby was also very comfortable here. The space was safe and welcoming for our little one, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The scenery around the property is absolutely stunning, adding a peaceful and natural beauty that made our experience even more memorable. Lastly, I can’t say enough about the Shannon’s kindness, quick responses, and hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel truly welcome. I am so grateful for their attentiveness and care throughout our stay. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! I will definitely be returning in the future.

Ben was an excellent host and the cottage was beautiful with lots to do. Ben was very communicative with me throughout the weekend and we had no issues. I highly recommend this cottage!

Asanga was an excellent host and very friendly. We had an amazing stay with a big group of over 10 of us and we slept comfortably. I have only good things to say about this stay and would recommend to all.

Would go back any day. It was a beautiful place and half way between my daughter’s home and my home so was able to spend a great weekend with my daughter and grandchildren. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Greg’s place is a perfect cottage: homey enough to feel comfortable yet special enough to feel like a treat. The view out the huge window is a lovely mix of sloped pathway/stairs, trees, lake, island in lake and more lake in the distance. The main room has the most comfortable couch and the 500 movies include something for everyone. We especially loved the wood-fired sauna down by the lake. I hope to stay here again!

The cottage has a spectacular view of the lake. It is very spacious and up to date. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, dinnerware, pots/pans, an air fryer and rice cooker. The dock area is in great condition, so it is a terrific place to relax in the sun, swim and fish. The stairs from the cottage to the dock has many steps, so my 84 year-old mother-in-law with bad osteoarthritis of the knees could not get down to the lake to go tubing. She was very happy to stay in the cottage and enjoy the view. The is only a short drive to Buckhorn with a Foodland and a Home Hardware to pick the items that you packed but left at home. Alex and Sophie were quick to answer any questions. Overall a really enjoyable couple of weeks.

Family and I did a Winter Getaway where we wanted peace and tranquility. Kevin's place is an all year place where you can find what you need or go to any time of the year. For our family it was so beautiful to chill out at the hot tub or playing games looking out on the (frozen) lake. When we first arrived we were greeted by Kevin and the reception we got from him was heartwarming. Kevin is a person who takes pride of his homes. Kevin's images on the website are true and beyond when you are staying there. A hidden gem. Really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return. Sharon H.

My fiancee and I wanted a place where we could experience winter with our 14 month old son. This cottage was perfect. It's on a beautiful, quiet, large piece of property. There was so much snow on the ground but we were still able to enjoy ourselves! There was a massive snow storm coming so unfortunately we had to end our visit early. The inside of the cottage is set up beautifully and has everything you should need. Our son is just learning to walk and had a blast zooming around the main floor. Even though we had to leave early we still enjoyed our stay and would love to check it out again. Luke, Kelce, Grady

One of the most beautiful stays with a beautiful view. We had an amazing time . The plus was the Jacuzzi overlooking the lake and the Sauna.

I rented Kieran and Tara's coach house for a weekend of relaxing and reading by the fire with some girlfriends. This cottage was absolutely perfect! It is tastefully decorated, cozy, and private. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided us with local suggestions and easy check-in/check-out instructions, and answered our questions in a timely manner. The location was also excellent providing ample privacy while being a 5-minute drive from downtown Cobourg. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this chat to a small group or family.

Beautiful cottage on the lake with lots of rooms. The view from upstairs watching the sunrise was beautiful despite all the snow!

Our stay was great! No issues whatsoever, host was accommodating and friendly, house had everything we needed, we stayed for work, so didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit with wood provided which I thought was very nice of the hosts! Water was not potable but the hosts leave you lots of drinking water, and water to make coffee!!

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Warren was a great host and very readily available to respond. The cottage was even nicer than described and how it came across in pictures. Everything there to enjoy an amazing stay and take in the beautiful and peaceful space. Great winter getaway and could only imagine how great it would be in the summer. One of those places ya wish you were there for a longer stay.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

We had such a wonderful stay! The space was warm, inviting, and all it was advertised to be. It was exactly what we needed—a comfortable and peaceful spot to relax. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in a bit early. The personal touches really made the place feel like a home away from home. The airbnb so nice we had to visit it twice! My friend and I have stayed at Roger & Julie's cottage twice in the last two months to get a full appreciate of Ontario winters and have close access to Algonquin & Silent Lake provincial oarks. Everything was perfect, and the hosts very kindly came to plough the driveway twice during February's second storm. Great hosts, great cottage and great location. 11/10, would recommend!
