I was warmly welcomed by Dijana. I was very surprised by the nice apartment. It is quiet and modernly equipped. Would love to come back. All in all, it was great.

We had a very relaxed and quiet stay at this beautiful place. The view of Appenzell is simply stunning and made our trip perfect. The surroundings are ideal to unwind and enjoy nature. The apartment was cozy, well equipped and very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!

This place is truly wonderful. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Very clean with modern amenities where needed. Beautiful decorations of historic pieces and local furnishings. Less than 10 minutes to downtown Appenzell and short drive to St.Gallen. The host is also great to work with. She is very kind, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

An amazing location , just up from Trogen. A lovely place to stay for a quiet stay except for the cow bells. A lovely host.

Nina’s was awesome. The bedroom looks out at a giant swimming pool with high dive and water slide that I loved visiting for 5 francs. Also pleasant to hear everyone playing in the distance through the open bedroom window. Nina was very welcoming and accommodating. I had my own bathroom with shower and bathtub. And the apartment was totally spotless. About a 7 minute walk to a gas station with a small grocery store, and right by the bus line to take you into town. It was easy and fun to stay at Nina’s while she was there.

we spent almost 5 months of our lives here, and all I can say is it was an absolute pleasure and experience to have lived here, and we would definitely be back to this place that we called home.

We had a lovely time at Preston's place. Excellent app with everything you need on site. Very clean. On a (long) weekend, this is a great spot. The apt is near the center (reachable in ca. 10 minutes!) - very close to all amenities. It's no other recommendable. Besides, Preston is actively responsive to messages sent - thank you!

The mattress is extremely comfortable. Tiptop the equipment of the kitchen all there. Even little extras thank you so much. We had a very quiet night. The landlord can't help it that a previous guest apparently did not comply with the smoking ban. Dear guests, please follow the rules because it is uncomfortable for the cleaners, landlords and guests when everything has to be washed up full of room scent spray to drive out the smoke. On Sunday, we didn't smell anything anymore. The apartment was top again, but Friday evening at check-in was too strong Febreze perfumed. I ventilated everything open for three-four hours and ate away. Overall, I recommend this apartment.

Nice little house with all amenities if you are going to Austria or even coming from there this place can be a good option with car as it has a parking space too.

He gave us great tips for the area and was always available if we had a question. The location is ideal, whether for sightseeing or relaxing. Cozy apartment in Urnäsch with a lot of love for detail. The apartment has been gently renovated and furnished with lots of charm. There is everything that is needed. The Coop can be reached in two minutes on foot. There is a lot to discover nearby. Säntispark, Walter Zoo, Tradition Museum, Herisau.. It's also very pretty for walking. Even a small ski tour was possible directly from the house. There would also be ski lifts, cross-country skiing trail. Susanne is a very thoughtful and friendly host. Her wine bar in the same house leads her with joy and passion. We liked the stay over the holidays very much and we like to come back for hiking and climbing in summer.

I had a great stay. The apartment was ideal and had great facilities. Beautiful View’s from the windows. I saved lots of money as I could prepare my own meals using the kitchen in the apartment. Hosts were fantastic always responsive and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I will be back!

It was very pleasant, the apartment had everything you needed if you want to spend several days there. The free parking in front of the house is also a plus if you arrive by car. The landlords is extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a super nice stay. Everything is easy to find, very clean and the contact was easy and quick. The hostess is very friendly and personable. Simply recommended! We will always be happy to come back!

Overall, the place was very suitable. I'm used to a lot of space so coming to Europe (from Canada) there is always a bit of a sacrifice. Irene's place is very nice and has a great view but there are a few things you should know. First, it's an old boarding house with lots of stairs. You're staying on the top floor so you will have to carry your luggage up 5 flights of stairs. You have the entire space to yourself but Irene lives on the main floor. You're on the 3rd floor. There is laundry but it's in the basement and Irene charges 3 francs. Well worth it and you have pretty much exclusive access. The view is incredible and there is a little deck you can stand on and take in the view. Kitchen is new and has everything you need. Irene even left some bread, cheese, meats and yogurt out for me. The location is on a giant hill but so is most of Switzerland so nothing out of the ordinary. There is a small store up the street but most things require a vehicle to get around.
