Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Switzerland

Perfect stop over after coming down St. Gotthard. Had a warm welcome. The dogs were happy to be able to stretch their legs and run around ( closed garden ❤️!). And Google manages the communication in any language 😁 Will always try to come back again !

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

Laura's chalet is just the perfect "Swiss chalet": the view, garden, wooden house, and location among other typical chalets. The place was convenient for our writing retreat. The environment of the village is stunning during the spring season, with Daphadels, snowdrops and crocus blowing in the gardens. Many thanks for hosting us.

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The place was as described and very clean and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable and all our expectations were exceeded. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

We were there in October with small children. The accommodation offers everything it needs and is very warmly furnished, with a lot of attention to detail. Right on the first day, Alessandra's father came by with a welcome gift. He was very warm and helpful. The large garden with the fireplace and a breathtaking view was the highlight. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked delicious dishes every day. There are a lot of toys in the house, for children of all ages. The village is very and authentic. We were able to see various wildlife in the area. A beautiful valley that has something mystical about it at this time of year. The steep slopes with countless waterfalls, the colored leaves and the morning bubble rising out of the woods. Scenic villages on the southern slopes. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. Maja is a very welcoming host and quick to give you tips for visiting the city or the surrounding area. The apartment is quiet, functional and very clean. It is close to many public transport lines and in 15 minutes you are at the train station then access to a direct bus to the airport. Several shops nearby and especially 5 minutes from the Rhine, for a walk. Thank you very much Maja for hosting us!

The apartment is in a great location. Right in front of the bus that leads to the ski resort. In addition, it is very cozy, perfectly equipped and just right for us. Nicole is friendly and communication went perfectly. Looking forward to next time!

Kathleen was very welcoming and very kind. I got there when the weather got rough with the snow and she made sure I had the proper clothing and gave me recommendations. Easy to communicate with for any questions needed. Instructions were very clear and easy to find.

This apartment offers a sensational view of the Mountains, featuring extremely comfortable beds, a lovely living space, and a well-equipped kitchen. It’s easily walkable from the train station and into town.

A wonderful apartment with blinds!! With everything you need to make life. A terrace to enjoy a morning cafe where you will see go down and climb squirrels. The rooms are perfect. And the shower is a luxury, totally renovated. The location in wonderful zermatt without noise and a 2-minute walk from the meollo. Totally recommended and we would definitely come back. We stayed at Diana's place as a 3 person family. It was so comfortable that we felt like we are at home :) Coffee machine and the kitchen were life-savers and thanks to Diana's informations we found the place so easy. If you'd like to have Bernina Express experience, the place is 10 mins to Chur HB with a bus and 100 mt to bus stop. Next time I prefer to rent a car. If you want to feel like you are at your own home, you can choose Diana's place and enjoy the coziness. Thanks for everything Diana. Tuğba and her family

Excellent spot with a beautiful view. Plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen is well equipped to cook home cooked meal and enjoy the beauty of the lake. Check in was smooth and Gian welcomed us and showed us around. Highly recommended!

Lauren was a great host and communicated quickly and well. The chalet was perfect for the 6 of us - 2 adults, 4 teenagers - for a three day skiing trip. Close to Ski Terminal serving greater Jungfrau Ski area, and close to centre of town for restaurants and bars and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook when required. In summary, it was the perfect ski chalet base, and we will certainly use again. Thank you Mark and Family

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how good the coffee tasted and this without capsules. We'd love to be back in Patrizia's apartment.
