Congratulations, if you are reading this review you have the chance to stay in one of the most special places on earth and you should not miss this opportunity. We are a family of 5 traveling the globe for a year and our last 5 nights at Stokes Bay Cliffs have been some of the most invigorating, inspiring, and delightful of our trip. Whether the view from the porch has you more enchanted by the wildlife or the sea, you will surely find yourself in the best frame of mind and grateful to be here, now. Kayak along the shore, hike the property, visit the local beaches, it doesn't matter how you spend your time, you will not be disappointed. I would add that if you are still deciding to come to KI or elsewhere, this place in and of itself should make the decision for you. Our cups are full and we are most grateful to the owners and hosts for this memorable stay.

Great place to stay on KI. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need, and a lot of care has been taken in making guests comfortable. The sight of kangaroos hopping around the house is amazing. The house is in the middle of nowhere so one has to come in prepared. Most sights are an hour away. The only caveat folks need to consider when looking at this place is that the roads to the place are horrible. There is an almost 10km stretch of dirt roads, and depending on your car this might not be the most comfortable. We had a flat on the evening we drove in and spent the whole of our only full day on the island chasing down the towing company. Since its a remote location, this took a lot of time. This is no fault of the host but something to keep in mind. The house itself is amazing and well maintained/equipped.

French couple visiting Kangaroo Island for the first time. Emily is a premium host, she’s very reactive and the beach house is super clean and well decorated. The view from the living room and master bedroom is stunning. You’ll be able to spot from the beach house : kangaroos, wallabies, dolphins, galah cockatoos, cormorants etc. We even saw a seal !! U can go for a swim in front of the house but we recommend the Stokes Bay beach (paradise beach) 10min by walk from the house. The beach house is well-located (in the middle of the island so u ll be mid-distance from everything) but be careful to go to the supermarket at your arrival in Cape Jervis (port) because there are none other supermarkets around the beach house. Nearest real supermarket is in Kingscote (40min by car). We’ll enjoy coming back and having seafront bbqs !! Thx for all
