Excellent place for a Family of 6. Dawn provides all the essentials you could possibly need. She is also a fantastic communicator. It’s also an easy and cheap bus ride to the center of town, just a 5 min walk to the bus stop. You can also walk there via the greenway if, like us, you enjoy a healthy urban walk. Thank you Dawn for the great suggestion!

Great location and great host!

We were a group of five adults. The place and surrounding area was beautiful and very comfortable. We did rent a car as the area was not easily walkable to the French Quarter or Bourbon street. Although there were restaurants nearby, many were across the marina so we drove. The house itself was clean, comfortable and lovely. The bunk beds posed a bit of a problem as the top bunk was not comfortable. But the trundle was comfortable enough ( but not terrible convenient). We had a great time in New Orleans and everyone agreed that the home was a great choice.

Asia's place was as described and in the perfect area by Frenchman and a short 15-20 minute walk to the quarter. She was great with communication and the apartment is perfect for 2-4 people. I will definitely be staying here again the next time we head to NOLA! 10/10

We had a great stay! We had an issue with the code when we first arrived but Heather answered right away when we called and she helped us get into the house. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed!

We traveled to New Orleans for my 33rd birthday! The home was perfect for us and was in close proximity to walk! The area was quiet and enjoyed the mornings on the back porch. Benjamin was a great host and even provided a few places to go locally! He was very responsive and friendly! We definitely plan on coming back and hope our new home from home will be available! I had a wonderful trip to NOLA staying at Mary’s place. We had great communication all along. The place is perfectly located next to the streetcar which is super convenient. Also, you have Magazine St., Freret St. and Prytania St within walking distance where you can find some of the best restaurants in the city. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe. I will definitely come back.

Look no further for the perfect place to stay in NOLA. I know we will be back very soon! Wonderful host and a great location! This home is everything your looking for in your next trip to NOLA. I highly recommend.

The AirBnB itself is very nice, it seems as it has been remodeled recently, with decent amenities, not too cluttered and very welcoming. It has a good parking spot up front, a nice porch, and a nice fenced-in backyard in case you have dogs. (Although I would check it first as the neighbors did not pick up after their dogs). Driving up to the neighborhood had a little sketchy feel with a bunch of clubs along the Main Street but at least it was nice a quiet in the AirBnB and felt nice, plus its a very close drive or Uber ride anywhere around the city. We had a small unfortunate situation where the water heater was broken from the first day, luckily the owner was super responsive and I worked with him to try and resolve the problem, but it was one of those things that happens, si he offered a refund if we wanted to find another place or discount if we wanted to still stay, and because of this I still gave him a high rating because he was a really nice guy and worked with us very well.

Absolutely perfect home base spot away from the busy and bustle of New Orleans. Kenny’s home was gorgeous and rich with history, with more than enough amenities for our 3 night stay. However, Kenny’s local recommendations both near and far put our stay way over the top. You can tell how important New Orleans is to Kenny and his family and we were never steered in the wrong direction. We stayed the weekend before Madi Gras, and Kenny offered up parade details for each day of our stay, a true highlight for us! Kenny’s food and drink recommendations were equally incredible. We were given a VERY detailed PDF (drink recommendations, history, ambiance) of local spots and felt welcomed and embraced everywhere we went. We enjoyed an unbelievable meal at Addis, and pagoda was an awesome breakfast spot (both five minute walks and must-go’s when you visit). Thank you again Kenny for being a wonderful host. You made our stay amazing.

The place had a lot of charm, felt very tradition New Orleans style. Our absolute favourite was Fatima’s coffee shop across the street. Delicious food and coffee. Would recommend staying. Really great area too. Lovely walks into French quarter.

New Orleans is one of my favorite cities. I have visited it many times. This visit (January 2025) was my first time to stay in Mid-City and it won’t be my last! The house is absolutely beautiful and so well done. It even has room for off street parking for two cars. The neighborhood is also beautiful and walkable, friendly, fun, a convenient drive or Uber to other parts of the city. I was there with two dearest soul friends on a new year getaway. We all slept well (comfy beds and linens) and had more than enough room. The heat kept us warm during the cold snap. We could have prepared gourmet meals in the fabulous kitchen but ate out instead because you must go to restaurants when in the Crescent City! This is a 5 star house in a 5 star city! I cannot wait to stay here again. Big thanks to Emily—a terrific host!

Great place to stay. Check in was easy. Germika was helpful with the local recommendations. The place was clean and spacious and accommodated our groups needs. I would stay again.

We loved our stay! The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The location is super close to the French quarter and a short Uber away from everything. The place was very clean the decor was cute! Cutie is very responsive and gave us many local restaurants and places to see. We will definitely be returning.

We stayed here with our two children, ages 6 and 2. It was the perfect set up for a family with young kids! Our children loved the bunk beds and the games. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Neighborhood was very walkable and felt safe. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit New Orleans.
