Monthly Rentals in Meina

Alberto received us personally and very friendly with cake & drinks. He had already sent us information about activities and other important things in advance. He also sent us precise directions to the apartment by video. Very accommodating and friendly. The place was clean and in a quiet location, very nicely located in nature. Great courtyard to enjoy a tea or wine. From the apartment, direct hiking trails are easily accessible. Communication with the host was always unproblematic and possible at short notice. Very accommodating! The amenities of the accommodation were sufficient - even for longer stays. Everything worked out great, the kids and we felt very comfortable!!! We'd love to come back!!

The place has a terrace with a beautiful view on the lake and the train station of Meina where you can spend even a rainy day. It is well equipped and easy to reach and the village has a newly opened supermarket. Margot is available in case of questions. As with many places in Italy it is important to bring slippers if you come in cold weather.

The appartement was clean and conveniently located for a wedding in St Carlos which is just a 5 minutes drive away. On site parking is convenient. The little terasse is enjoyable. Edvige was really responsive and even though we didn't get to meet, she gave us a few local recommendations.

The place was exactly to our liking! Historically interesting and very tastefully decorated, with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore, and also pleasantly clean. Our dog was welcome and was allowed, as long as it did not disturb any other guests, to accompany us into the walled garden/backyard. We enjoyed our excursions by car or on foot. It is in the nature of the lake that you can orient yourself well and always find something worth seeing or a restaurant or café. If you want to cook yourself, you can browse through the cookbook collection in the kitchen. Anna explained everything to us well and also had tips for our activities. In the apartment, a few treats were provided for us, including homemade jams. In the stairwell there is plenty of information material about the area and a shelf for the book exchange... There was also something interesting in German. We thought it was great!
