The owner is very quick to respond. Prior to our arrival he sent very detailed instructions on getting to the house and on local sights that are worth seeing. The house is ideal and was very clean. It has all that is needed with plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses etc. The owner is an artist and the house is decorated with his pictures. There is off street parking for two cars and there are bikes in the shed for local cycling if you wish to. Ideally located for Santander and for local sights including the mountains.

Had a really nice stay with a group of friends. Everything was great, really comfortable beds and good shower facilities. Tania met us at check in and showed us round, she was super friendly and gave us recommendations for a local restaurant. Would definitely visit again and 100% recommend

Everything is great in general, a quiet stay with everything you need. The house is spacious and well equipped.

We had a great stay, the house was very clean and Jose was such a lovely guy. He was always contactable. He gave us lots of recommendations on things to do and places to visit which we did and throughly enjoyed them all. The pool was beautiful and our kids really enjoyed it. Check in and out was flexible which was excellent.

Casa La Pondarosa is a very charming cottage in a great location. Only greenery around you, in a quiet garden, which gives the feeling of tranquility and plenty of space. In the area you can walk very well. There are a few fantastic restaurants nearby. Jose is great host. Very friendly and responds very quickly to messages. He gives fantastic tips for good restaurants in advance, they were highly recommended. We were extremely satisfied with our vacation.

It was wonderful, we were a big group and we don't have a single complaint. We loved it and would come back if possible.

A 4 day stay passed! We have gone 6 people, we have all been very happy. Sandra left us everything we needed at the house, in addition to helping us on the first day to find it. The rooms and bathroom are like in a basement but have windows. The only thing we missed was a little wifi and that the remote control worked, but otherwise super good. We had the heating almost all day on and we didn't get cold at all. Overall, all great! Many, thank you, Sandra!

The house is phenomenal for large groups. Rooms are spacious bedrooms and kitchen as well. It is very well located, on the beachfront and about 15 minutes walk from the main square, by the promenade. Very nice. The only point to point out is that in the description of the house it does not make it very clear that she lives in the same house but downstairs, which is something to keep in mind above all because of the noises. Otherwise, everything is perfect!

Amazing place. Super clean, 15 mins walk to ocean or 5 mins drive. The host is SUPER friendly, provided all tips, very kind and also provided place to visit. Very clean appartments with closed parking garage. Strongly recommended and amazing host!

We were ten people, the house is very spacious and the kitchen is very complete with everything you need, good heating and without problems with the hot water, which is to be appreciated, we found soap and gel in the bathrooms, Alberto was very kind and attentive giving us all kinds of recommendations and information. The house is fantastic. As it appears in the ad. Although hosts are in the next door home, the privacy is total. They are very kind and helpful, but also very discreet. You can't say anything about it. Highly recommended.

We have been two marriages with a girl. The ideal size and great treatment. They gave us very good directions and we were right at home. What I least liked was that we had such a busy schedule that we couldn't enjoy the house anymore. Thank you for everything.

A fantastic traditional house well situated for enjoying Comillas town and beach. This is a home from home feel, the house has clearly been used as a personal holiday home for decades and so it is filled with comfy details, interesting things and a very well equipped kitchen. There is WiFi too, which pleased the teenagers in the party. Parking is a little tricky at high season (July-August) but the main road above the house is a good place to find a spot if the closer by parking is full. We recommend Quo Vadis restaurant for Pizza and lovely pasta. Our group took great advantage too of the surfing beach 10 mins drive away from the house. Oyambre Surf company had surf board for hire on a walk in basis at the beach. Comillas is perfect for a multi-generational family holiday. Thanks to Florian and Veronica for their help.

Excellent house, perfect location since it is in the middle of the countryside but at the same time very close to Santander. The garden and exteriors are gorgeous. Joaquín is very kind and attentive.

we spent 5 nights in Pontejos and we love it! Very quiet, the neighbors very nice and the quiet area and walking distance from Santander. Mar helped us and was attentive to us before arriving and greeted us to give us the keys to the accommodation. I teach us the house, even had children's books that were super useful to entertain our two sons. Highly recommended!

We had a great time, amazing views. Despite being a small town it is close to all the necessary amenities. Around you have many villages and things to do. You are close to amazing places. Ricardo is always attentive, 100% recommended, we will definitely be back.
