My family and I were absolutely enchanted by everything, the house the landscape the Wonder of nature, some views that are priceless, I would repeat if I can, David and his father wonderful and formal people the truth I have nothing but positive words, thank you very much for everything!!!!

Cozy house in a spectacular rural setting. We were 12 people and the house had everything you need to have a great weekend: spacious living room, numerous rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzy (a shame it was very bad weather and we could hardly use them), wood oven, abundant utensils, etc. The beautiful setting. A lost house between mountains with very beautiful landscapes. And if that was not enough, Roko, the neighboring dog liven us up the times we were outdoors. In short, we were very comfortable and eager to repeat.

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. The house is great both for spending the end without leaving it and for taking walks in the area. Reinosa and super close supermarkets. Salomé was not able to be more attentive with us, she helped us with everything and cared for us. We will definitely repeat. Thank you very much Salome for everything

Beautiful rural garden refuge in the heart of the Merindades, an area of impressive natural beauty and full of lovely medieval (from 10th century on) cities and towns. Santi has put a lot of time and effort to build his private refuge and we felt grateful he shared with us. Him and his wife were fantastic hosts and full of helpful suggestions. Their dogs Jackie & Chan were affectionate and playful. The place was huge, well decorated and spotless. All amenities, modern kitchen and cabinets, great bathrooms with a jacuzzi, working wood burning stove and a huge garden with a sitting/dining area and pond with ducks. Private parking of course. Butrera is a tiny town with a lovely romanic church but just a few miles of Villarcayo with plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. A really unique place in our extensive experiences with Airbnb's. Our one regret is that we were there only two nights but we will be back to this astonishing area before international tourism discovers it.

the "Casa del abuelo" is located in the heart of Cantabria in a green setting with all the necessary amenities. For our group of 9 people with children, it had enough rooms and a beautiful view. In the heart of nature and less than an hour from the famous cabarceno animal park; the different caves in the region, and the most beautiful beaches in the region ( La Salvé de Laredo, El Sardinero de Santander,... ) With a strong identity, Ana has provided all the documentation of interesting places in the area. We have books and board games in abundance. In this cottage, you can enjoy the scenery and walk or drive to tourist places: Castro urduales, san vicente de la barquera,... On the other hand , a car is absolutely necessary.

Spotless entire house Very comfortable beds, very good bedding and very complete kitchen with new and complete kitchen. Very well furnished and comfortable. The breathtaking surroundings with incredible scenery.

The house is even prettier than in the photos with a lot of space and a huge window in the living room overlooking the valley where you can see how the clouds stay at the bottom and has a giant patio, a good fireplace and a kitchen perfectly equipped with everything you need. All the large rooms with good beds and Nordics and with three bathrooms all very comfortable and complete in addition to beautiful ones. The air conditioning of the house is perfect with underfloor heating it is super comfortable, we go great everything. Communication with Javier very well and also shows you nearby routes and places of interest.

Amazing house and location. Inside it is huge, even better than the photos, we went 8 friends and we were super comfortable at all times. The fireplace heats super well and also in each room there were electric radiators that kept the temperature super well. It has all the comforts and also the location is a pass, away from other houses with stunning views and tranquility and absolute privacy. Communication with Daniel and his partner has also been easy at all times, thank you very much for everything.

The whole family felt right at home, an idyllic place to repeat without a doubt. José was always very helpful, he explained and recommended places to visit and routes to do. Thank you very much Jose we were great in your beautiful house.🥰

Everything great! The house is spacious, clean and located perfect for hiking around. In addition, we have traveled with a dog, it is appreciated to be able to make plans away from home a finde and be able to bring it.

We have spent a good weekend in the pin house. It's great for disconnecting surrounded by nature. The house has charm with the little river that passes right next door. The terrace is perfect for having a barbecue. There are trails that leave the village and the house.

It was a pleasure staying there, we felt right at home and the treatment was close and familiar. Also their tortilla and biscuits are delicious!

I was surprised, for good, the house. New, very nice decor, amazing details (porcelain tableware, cups with nice decor, different models of glasses and cups, glasses, ...). Julia doesn't miss out on any detail, for example, the paper in the kitchen is not a simple roll of any Asian store, it's quality and brand, like this an endless detail. If you get to a place on December 21 and there is the house warm, you have coffee and some sobaos, and the poop burned with Christmas motifs, you realize the type of host who is Julia. If I had to summarize our experience, 5 UNFORGETTABLE DAYS IN A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED HOUSE 👍👏👏💯

Unforgettable experience Jon was very friendly and very attentive to everything we needed... and the house is what you see in the photos, there were 8 of us and it was spacious enough for everyone, the only shame was that we could not take full advantage of the outdoor plot that the house has because the weather did not accompany us... but it is worth the move to this small town, to a house like this... All the rooms in the house were unclean, you can't put it a bad thing… Jon is a host of 10, and can serve for a reunion of friends, such as for families with children…

The PLACE , to spend a few days , months and years in Cantabria.

Our stay at Diana's place was unbeatable. We went to three couples with 5 children and we were very comfortable. As soon as we arrived, we found a homemade cake in the kitchen that seemed like a touch. The house is very nice, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped and also has a play area with projector on the first floor that the children enjoyed a lot. Each room was also perfectly equipped with its own bathroom. The house is located in a beautiful setting with many hiking and visiting options such as the Salinas de Añana. In short, everything is highly recommended.
