Vacation rentals with a patio in Maya Beach, Seine Bight

I can’t say enough about Alux. We loved the pictures but still didn’t think the unit would be so large. Just off the “sidewalk”, we were right in the hub of Placencia, which is busy by Belize standards but very peaceful by 8 or 9pm at night. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and kitchen was huge. Our 7 yr old caught 3 different types of snapper (red, grey, yellow tail), so we used the gas grill, which was conveniently hooked up to central gas. One week was not enough to explore placencia or this amazing pinnesula, but we will be back to stay again. Thanks Judy for thinking of everything, down to the loofa, make up removing pads, and custom made soap!

We stayed at Judy's on 7-8 Feb 2025 to go to the Placencia Sidewalk Art Festival. We couldn't have gotten closer and were very lucky. The room was as described, exceptionally clean and well appointed. A staff member was onsite and on top of every detail--very attentive and responsive. Parking: If driving, parking is on a nearby street next to the soccer (football) field, the green spot on Google Maps, and a short walk down a path. Highly recommended if you can catch an opening.

In the month that we stayed, a few things needed attention. Those few items were taken care of right away. Both our maintenance guy and our housekeeper were always cheerful, helpful and efficient. The apartment, including the kitchen, was very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything worked as expected. Kudos to Craig for providing a very pleasant and practical place to stay. Recomended!

Everything was as described and more. Pots and pans were good quality...not the usual scratched non stick that we've seen elsewhere. Spices and even some condiments were included. Everyone was very friendly and response from Dora was always quick. Bed and furnishings we're comfortable. Excellent stay!

It’s a very comfortable little place to stay. Close to everything but far enough away from the centre of town that it is still quiet at night.

This is our 3rd year staying at Alux and will no doubt return. The property is beautiful and the apartments are spotless clean and comfortable. I usually have to work a bit while we're there and the wifi is reliable and good quality (great for longer stays if you're a remote worker!). The location is the best in the village if you ask me. Many of the best restaurants in town are walking distance and the beach is a 2 second walk away. Parking has never been a problem even if we do take the car somewhere. I highly recommend staying here, feels like home and will make your trip the best it can be.

We had an incredible stay thanks to Candace, our amazing hostess! She’s full of energy, super helpful, and made us feel right at home. Candace knows the local scene inside out—she set me up with a fantastic fly fishing trip and arranged a snorkeling day at a private island for us. Her dinner recommendations were spot on too. Living just a couple houses away, she was always available and quick to respond, which we really appreciated. The place itself was large, spacious, and just 100m from the water. The beach was uncrowded and perfect for peaceful morning swims. Being centrally located off the pedestrian walk in downtown Placencia was a bonus—everything was so accessible. Candace truly took great care of us, and we’d love to come back!

We had a beautiful time. Everything was just as described, sitting on the terrace listening to the waves was so delightful. Herbert was extremely responsive and very helpful—not that we needed anything from him! It was a great experience.

The Happy Place was the perfect home away from home for our party of 6 while we were staying in Placencia. The bedrooms and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. The beautiful craftsmanship complemented the beautiful location, and it was easy to get to the Placencia Pier and lots of amazing local bars and restaurants. Amber was a great host and very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time here! The place is charming and right on the beach. It's not huge but has vaulted ceilings, nice king sized bed and a shower with HOT water and great water pressure which is not always the case in the Caribbean or Central America. Screened in porch overlooks the ocean and protects against the bugs. Perfect accommodations for a solo traveler or a couple. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a bar and restaurant next door. The location is a few miles from the stores and amenities of Palencia so a rental car would be recommended. Colleen Ann is a great host who responds quickly, lives in the area, and can handle any any issues/questions you may have.

We had an awesome time at Bella Sway. It was great to walk out the back door and right onto the beach with Palm trees for shade! Lori was very responsive, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was quiet. There were multiple nice restaurants to walk to. Maya Beach was a great jumping off point to visit other things in the area, the Jaquar Reserve and the cocoa farm.

The villa was just what my family needed. It was out of the tourist area and relaxing. The house is equipped with most everything we needed. The place was just as advertised. Great time and a bottom floor bedroom for privacy for my dad. Kitchen is remarkable and beautiful!!

The place was exactly as described. It at the northern side of town but can reach anywhere in town in about 10 minutes by car. Tobin's place will be our goto anytime we need to stay in Dangriga.

we honestly have nothing bad to say about the condo/ Airbnb. Kimberly was always very prompt to get back with answers to any of my questions as well as helpful with recommending excursions & restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable! Loved the fact that there were kayaks, paddle boards and bicycles for us to use! We loved the table on the patio! also the chairs & ottomans were very comfortable outside our bedroom for morning coffee, we'd loved sitting out there watching the sunrise. we did have rain several days and the porch/patio always stayed dry. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and look forward to a time that we can return!

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.

We loved Sunset Point! The home was exactly what we expected and the perfect space for the four of us. Loved that we had patios to the front and back of the unit, plenty of space to spread out. The views, the docks for fishing the roof top look out was better than we expected! Rosa greeted us as soon as we arrived. It simply felt like home. Captain Jacks picked me up for a scuba trip right at the complex, how convenient!! The road down to the point is a little bumpy but hey, all the roads off the main street in Placencia are😊 We loved the list we received regarding places to eat and were to buy food, The recommendations were spot on. The best food in the area were those just off the beaten path! During the second part of our trip we stayed north of the airport. And as nice as that was, we all could not get Sunset Point out of our minds. For us the privacy of Sunset Point-yet proximity to all the action in town was the exact place to be. We will definitely be back ❤️
