Monthly Rentals in Mata de Platano

Our stay in Mariana’s rainforest cabaña was nothing short of amazing! Waking up to spectacular views, listening to all the birds from the hammock, simply a paradise to relax in. The place has everything you could need and is just so beautiful, you are embedded in nature (mosquito repellent is a must!). The freezer was excellent as we set off in the morning with ice water for hiking since it gets very hot in the day. Mariana was a superb host who sent us a list she has made of local recommendations making our few days in Tayrona even better. We loved having the beach nearby and accessible on foot as well as proximity to the National Park. Thank you!

The truth is that this eco-cabin was much more than I expected, it is beautiful, the environment that surrounds it makes these cabins a very nice place to rest. The location is excellent, since you can walk to the entrance of the Tayrona in 10 minutes if that's where you want to stay. There are stores nearby where you can find everything. Ramón is very helpful, he made us feel right at home and gave us a coffee mug that was delicious. Don't hesitate to stay at this place, it's really beautiful

An amazing location to explore Tayrona and experience the magic of staying in nature. Kiera and Callum were such great hosts, giving lots of recommendations for Tayrona and helping us arrange a taxi to and from the accommodation. The accommodation looks just like the photos, is private and totally immersed in the jungle. I was initially a bit apprehensive about being so exposed to the outside but we didn’t have any problems with bugs and the mosquito net gave protection at night. It is walkable to a local beach and Tayrona El Zaino gate, this place is an amazing base for exploring the area.

Very nice place to stay, great and quiet location in the middle of the jungle.
