Family-friendly vacation rentals in Martinsville

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge! We gathered to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and she was overwhelmed - in her words, she loved 'every single nook and cranny' of the lodge. It was a beautiful weekend and Alicia was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.

Appreciate Heather’s flexibility with our check out. Great location to VT. Home is as described. Great value (especially if you have a dog(s). Small fenced in area was great.

Shirleyann is a friendly and welcoming host with a quiet and peaceful property 10 minutes from downtown Floyd. The BnB is comfortable, clean, and has everything you need, including yummy breakfast foods in the fridge. We look forward to staying there again.

For our gathering of 12 family members for a wedding, this was a wonderful house for us and our adult children to gather. Spacious kitchen, plenty of dishes and cutlery and 2 dishwashers! The house was comfortable and fit our needs. The hosts were responsive.

The house was exactly as described. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It is a very quiet area and the host stayed in contact to be sure everything went as planned. Will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

Beautiful location, place as described. Jacuzzi was great. Lots of hot water. Good water pressure, good shower. Bed was comfortable. Donnie was helpful and responsive.

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

loved this place a lot! it is a tad expensive but, it really delivers on what it promises. i have no real complaints, just a warning that there may be a bit of a carpenter bee problem on the deck

Absolutely wonderful! This was one of the best experiences we’ve had with any vacation rental. Immaculately clean and super comfy home. Great labels. Easy check in/check out. Stocked generously with essentials for absolutely everything from paper products to cooking to linens and beyond. Beautiful property and the most lovely, flexible, responsive host. Despite below freezing temps, four children (ages 3, 6, 6, and 8) and two adults had a great stay making friends with farm animals and memories with one another. Thank you, Hope and family! We will be back. :)

We had a wonderful stay at Marianne’s! Her place had everything we needed for a short stay and was quiet and cozy. We so appreciated her accommodating an earlier check in. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to the area!

We loved this place. Great communication from the hosts, very sweet, well-appointed and comfortable accommodations, beautiful setting in a lovely neighborhood.

This home was perfect for our family of 6 plus our dog. The large kitchen was perfect for making meals at home and the couches are super cozy. The backyard is larger than our seems in the photos. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning, eating our breakfast and listening to the birds. She has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of fun extras throughout the house. We appreciated the special attention given to our doggie including a gift just for her.

this home was exactly as described. we loved the home and the back yard was so cool and our dogs loved the little trails made up in the back.. my wife called it the enchanted forest. best shower I ever had at a rental. if u have dogs and need a clean, great kitchen, lots of room place to stay. this is it. we were so happy. there is so much more good about this. parking was easy, checkin easy, fully stocked, tons of room, great water pressure. we will definitely be back.

Sam & Nicki were wonderful, my drive to NC took much longer than expected so I arrived late in the evening. They both were flexible and accommodating. The Shack was very comfortable, bedding, kitchen had everything you could need, great shower. Clean, quiet, peaceful and private. Fresh eggs and water along with new pillows provided with out request, eggs delicious! Woke up to be greeted by a friendly cow, pony and horse. I had to leave early my sister had a sudden heart attack and passed away, Sam and Nicki could not have been more kind. Told me to leave the shack without worry for cleaning it up, although I did my best in such a distraught state. They followed up to make sure I made it back safely and sent kind and comforting words and prayers. I hope I an able to one day revisit and would recommend a stay at the shack should u be in the area. Thank you for your hospitality, flexibility, fresh eggs, and understanding. Bless to have had the opportunity to spend time at the shack 💙🙏

Convenient, comfortable and great view. Chris was helpful, flexible, and very responsive. Visited during an epic cold spell and missed the full potential of the lake access which I would live to enjoy next time

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Owner was very accommodating to our special needs. Perfect location for visiting a student from Wake, easy walk to campus and off campus housing. Safe, pretty neighborhood.
