Overall, we had a great stay at Aaron's lake house. Everything was described accurately for the most part and we had a great time. One thing that we were a little thrown off by was that there was a per person fee (which I think other Airbnbs have sometimes) but it made the price go up quite a bit which made the value change from a crazy good deal to a fairly alright one. Only few things that we would bring to the hosts attention is that we saw there were fees for cleaning the grill and that we were requested to clean all the silverware we use, but we noticed that when we got there, the grill was quite dirty so we had to clean it before we even got to use it and that most of the silverware was actually not clean even though it was in the drawer which wasn't ideal either. WiFi is also not the best but it was definitely manageable! Now other than those things, truly everything was honestly really solid. All bedding was well provided and clean for our 8 guys. Honestly a super great stay.

We were there during a cold snap and the house was super cozy for staying in, being lazy. The owner came by and shoveled when a large block of snow fell from the room onto the front steps. Great location! Highly recommend.

Treetops Cabin in the Woods!

A great place to unplug! We stayed at the cabin for a week near the beginning of November. It was very relaxing just to sit outside near the fire, or read on one of the three decks, all of which have a great view. We saw lots of wildlife. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. We are looking forward to our next stay at this cabin in the woods.

The home was just as described and close to the family we were visiting. The home has a cozy, welcoming feel the moment you walk in the door with comfortable furnishings. Penny even put up a small Christmas tree and other tasteful Christmas touches for our Christmas time visit. She is very responsive and answered any questions promptly. We enjoyed being out of town and will likely return next time we are in Indiana. Country Home is a perfect name for this property.

I can't say enough good things about this place! 7 bedrooms all private! The place was so clean!! The ambiance inside was so unique and fun with all of the game mounts! There are wonderful local restaurants including Rosie's pizza which we definitely partook of! Firewood was available outside, kitchen amenities were more than anyone could ask for and when we wanted to watch the opening Packers game in the late evening it was super easy to connect to the large TV. We can not wait to come back!! Thanks Chris!!

Erin and Jim’s cozy basement unit is worth the time and money for our family. We wish we had sat in their beautiful backyard with the red leaves on either maple or oak trees, and our Wisconsin trees were bare at the end of November, although the temperature was in the low 30s! Thanks, Erin and Jim, for the opportunity.
